Out tbd for PlayStation 4. The eighth main entry in the increasingly popular (and often comedic) organized crime series completely shakes up the Yakuza formula. Not only are you playing as a new character (Ichiban Kasuga) in a new setting (mainly the Tokyo suburb of Yokohama), but the entire genre has changed: Like a Dragon is basically an RPG, with team- and turn-based combat rather than real-time beat-em-up action. One thing that hasn't changed is the inclusion of minigames, which include the return of karaoke and a new Mario Kart-inspired street racing game.
While the newest Yakuza remains a PlayStation exclusive, Xbox owners will finally get a chance to play some of the games in the series. Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are all slated to come to Game Pass (and be available for purchase) at some point in early 2020.
