In the gallery above, find details on the most-anticipated games that are expected to be released for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC during 2020. (They're listed in alphabetical order.) While our list only includes games with confirmed release dates or that seem more likely than not to come out this year, you'll also find some of the more remote possibilities for 2020 compiled at the end of the gallery.
Out January 28 for PC. A high-def remaster of the 2002 real-time strategy game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos (and its Frozen Throne expansion), Reforged obviously offers much-improved graphics, and all of the characters, cutscenes, and environments have been rebuilt from scratch. But other changes have been made, including upgrades to the UI, a new beginner-friendly story mode, balance changes, and tweaks to the locations and missions to bring Warcraft III in line with the lore developed over the past decade and a half in World of Warcraft.
Speaking of the latter, the MMORPG will get its latest expansion, Shadowlands, at some point this year.
