Out tbd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Gaming's most adorable rocket scientists return this year in the first sequel to the 2015 hit Kerbal Space Program. That game was a surprisingly detailed and realistic space program simulation which tasked you with helping your adorable green alien astronauts (Kerbals) head into space on a series of missions. The sequel promises more of the same, but with missions that are more far-ranging than before, including interstellar travel and colonization of other planets. The user interface has been completely revamped by new developer Star Theory, and new tutorials should make it easier for newbies to jump in. (But not too easy—it is rocket science, after all.) Modding will still be possible, and KSP2 is expected to add multiplayer gameplay.
