In the gallery above, find details on the most-anticipated games that are expected to be released for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC during 2020. (They're listed in alphabetical order.) While our list only includes games with confirmed release dates or that seem more likely than not to come out this year, you'll also find some of the more remote possibilities for 2020 compiled at the end of the gallery.
Out in November for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. You won't need the next-gen Xbox in order to play the next installment in Microsoft's flagship series. (You won't even need a console; for a change, it'll be on PC on day one.) But Halo Infinite will be one of the launch titles available on the new Xbox, and we're guessing that Microsoft will do whatever possible to make the next-gen version of Infinite look so tempting that you'll be unable to resist a hardware upgrade. Both split-screen multiplayer (absent last time) and Master Chief return, and the story picks up after Halo 5: Guardians.
