Most Anticipated Video Games of 2017, Part 2: New IP and Indie Releases
Yesterday, in part 1 of our preview, we looked at 2017's most-anticipated sequels and remakes. Today, in our conclusion, we pick out the coming year's most promising new properties, both from big name developers as well as indie studios.
What: The latest unconventional game from Tearaway and LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule. Dreams has a heavy emphasis on user-generated content like the latter, though you won't be designing levels. Instead, you have greater flexibility to create and share "dreams," which could be anything from animations to illustrations to puzzles, limited only by your imagination. If that sounds a little hazy, you may have stumbled across the game's biggest obstacle to success: explaining its concept to gamers.
