Most Anticipated Video Games of 2017: Sequels, Remakes and Adaptations
No, it's not you. There's a reason why many of the games you'll see below in part one of our 2017 preview (a second part, focusing on new IP, arrives later this week) may seem familiar: you saw them here last year, in our 2016 games preview. The good news? They probably won't get delayed again to 2018. You'll find those holdovers—as well as the most promising recently announced titles—in our gallery below, listed in alphabetical order.
What: The 11th major release in the 21-year-old survivor horror series and the first of those 11 games to be played from a first-person perspective. (You can also play the whole thing on the PlayStation VR headset if you want to amplify that first-person feeling.) Fortunately, Biohazard aims to emphasize scares over action, unlike the hugely disappointing Resident Evil 6.
