Danny Glover and Mel Gibson had lots of time to perfect their onscreen chemistry in the 1987 entry Lethal Weapon, so, by the time this sequel hit theaters two years later, they nailed it. The pair reunited with director Richard Donner to continue the story of two mismatched law enforcers, this time as they track down South African diplomats using their immunity to engage in plenty of illegal activities.
