Wayne Cruseturner

Biography: Wayne Cruseturner attended high school in Marlin, Texas. He served in the Marine Corps from 1957-1960, and he majored in journalism at Baylor University in Waco, Texas subsequent to his military service. He moved to Los Angeles in 1967. He held cue-cards for several years, working on numerous variety shows, game shows and soap operas. In addition to his episodic television credits, he created the game show "Gambit," which debuted in 1972 and ended its initial run on CBS in 1977. The show found new life on NBC from 1979 to 1980. His novel, Forever and Ever, appeared in 1981.
