Rochelle Loewen

Biography: Rochelle Loewen, was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Growing up there in a smaller city has been a wonderful experience and has helped me become the person that I am today. She has always had a positive outlook on life and a high self-esteem. With this in mind, she readily admits, that during high school she was never the epitome of physical perfection. There was always another girl with prettier eyes, another with longer legs, and others with better physiques than herself. It was only after high school that she physically came into her own and "bloomed."
Her lifelong passion for health and fitness also played a major role in helping her become the women that she is today, both physically and psychologically. She is especially devoted to doing Long-distance running. She ran religiously. It has truly helped her to connect with her inner-self and has assisted her in finding out the limits of her own determination. Her genuine interest in health and fitness has spilled over into her professional aspirations. She has always been attracted to physically demanding occupations and she has always longed to be aspired to become either a police officer or firefighter. A short time ago, she enrolled in a law enforcement program with a minor in criminology.
However she soon realized that it was not the physical nature of the work that attracted her, but the very process of pursuing a physically demanding and healthy lifestyle that truly excited her. For this reason, she changed gears and started towards acquiring a career in fitness and modeling. Her long-term dream is to have an internationally televised fitness show on a network such as ESPN. She has recently become a Certified Personal Trainer and is currently helping to manage a very popular women's fitness center in Edmonton. She has spent a large amount of her time, both at work and at home, studying health and fitness. She knows a great deal about the many dietary plans and other lifestyle choices that are necessary to get the body that one wants and how to maintain it. She continues to learn more about this field everyday and she looks forward to a career of continual learning in this area.
The importance of a healthy lifestyle really hit home after her father died of a sudden heart disease 5 years ago. It is for this reason that promoting good health and a positive lifestyle is that much more important to her.
Not too long ago, she entered a local pageant in Edmonton. It was her first bikini pageant and she did not take it too seriously. Much to her surprise, she had won first place. This led to the city semi-finals, which eventually led to the finals for the "Miss Hawaiian Tropic" model search. After winning the city finals, "Hawaiian Tropic" flew her to Montreal, Quebec to compete against 200 of Canada's most beautiful women for the title of "Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada 1999-2000". Incredibly, she won the title!
Being a Hawaiian Tropic model has been a most exhilarating experience for her. A Bathing suit and fitness modeling is something she has only dreamed of doing. This opportunity was truly a dream come true. Hawaiian Tropic has given her a chance to see the world and go to places that she could have never otherwise gone to at this point in her life. Traveling has definitely helped her to learn to appreciate the importance of her friends and family that live in Edmonton. She have two younger siblings, two brothers named Michael who is 19 and pursuing a computer sciences degree, and Kali who is 17 and in grade 12. Her family and friends have encouraged her to reach for the stars.
After winning the "Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada" title, she has since won many other titles in pageants and had many notable achievements including:
