Robert Pirosh
Biography: American screenwriter and director Robert Pirosh studied at the Sorbonne and at the University of Berlin before launching a career in advertising. Pirosh came to Hollywood to work as a screenwriter in the mid-'30s. In 1949, he won an Oscar for his script for Battleground. Pirosh occasionally directed films in the 1950s. In addition to his work for feature films, Pirosh also wrote and produced for many television shows.
