Michelle Beedle

Biography: At the age of three, Michelle began modeling and dancing; she appeared on the "Simon Sings" toy box and promotional materials for Hallmark's Zoobilee Zoo. She also competed in pageants and dance competitions on the local and national levels throughout her childhood. As a teen, Michelle began to take voice lessons with Music Arts Institute and her passion for acting and singing grew. She had starring roles and solos with the local community theatres and Fort Osage High School. Among these were: Harriet Tubman, How the West Was Really Won; Louisa, The Sound of Music; and Dorothy, Somewhere in Time. In 1997, she had an opportunity to audition with Disney and was cast as a muse in the "Hercules Show" with Show Choir Camps of America. In college, Michelle branched into opera and oratorio work and made her debut with the University of North Carolina as the soprano in Mozart's Coronation Mass. In 2003, Michelle was selected as a finalist in the "American Icon" talent competition; the reward was her own radio show during the afternoon drive in the nation's 29th broadcasting market. "That Show" aired 2-6PM, every weekday with host, That Girl, Michelle on Cutting Edge Christian Radio, KCWJ AM 1030 the Light. During this time Michelle voiced commercials, made special appearances, emceed concerts and interviewed POD, Skillet, Relient K, Cross Movement, Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, Max Lucado and many others. She also was featured in XII Magazine, and a guest on the Gospel Revolutions Show.

Currently, Michelle is an actress and back up singer on the Emmy® award winning Steve & Kathy show. She has played various roles but is most known for her portrayal of Oprah. Michelle has a Bachelors of Music Performance from UMKC Conservatory of Music and a Masters of Ministerial Studies from World Revival School of Ministry. Her awards include: 3 time All-American Cheerleader, All-district and All-State Choir recognition, NATS finalist and several pageant titles.
