Jerry Tilley

Biography: Jerry Tilley is a thrid-generation fisherman, that has been fishing on the Berring Sea for almost 22 years, whom was born in the town of Aberdeen, Washington, but grew up in the town of Westport. He start fishing when he was 12, when he got his start in commerical fishing, by heading out with his step father off the coast of their home state, of Washington, for tuna.
At the age of 17, Jerry would get his first job in the Dungeness Crab fishery on the board the F/V Pacific Dream. A year later he would buy his first boat, the F/V Dotty to fish for salmon. The next year, Jerry would head up to Alaska to find a job on the dangerous waters of the Berring Sea and would get a job on the 120ft F/V Intrepid. After getting his 1600 ton Master Licnese, he would get a job running the processer Artic Alaska.
When Jerry isn't fishing up in Alaska, he would head back to his home state of Washington to fish for salmon and crab on board the F/V Miss Michelle.
