Jack Gold

Biography: Gold assisted on numerous British films in the '50s and directed for television in the '60s. He made his theatrical-feature debut in 1968 with the political drama The Bofors Gun. After making several strong dramas, he turned his attentions to television in the late '70s, most notably with his biopic of Quentin Crisp, The Naked Civil Servant.
