Hal Smith
Biography: American character actor Hal Smith began his career as a screenwriter in the mid-'40s. In the 1960s, he played a semi-regular role as the lovable town drunk Otis in the Andy Griffith television series. He also appeared in several Disney features during the '60s. Smith went on to make his living as a voice actor for television cartoons and animated features. He continues to do most of his work for Disney.
