Donna Quashnick

Biography: Donna is Rick Quashnick's wife and co-owns the Maverick with him, which makes them the only husband and wife team in the entire fishing fleet. She is also one of the few women who go out for the fishing seasons. Donna is the one that buys the groceries, cooks the meals, do a few wheel watches, and keeps her guys alive and well, which gives her the unofficial title of "Boatmom”.

Donna grew up in a career Coast Guard family and because of that her interest in commercial fishing grew around a close relationship with her father, who worked on a Coast Guard tender during her childhood’s years. Shortly after high school Donna would meet Rick, the two of them would marry, and began their family of five daughters soon after, whom would grew up in a 3 bedroom Ranch style home, and also on the deck of their 32' gillnet boat.
