Alex Etel

Biography: Alex Etel ascended to fame as a child actor during the mid- to late 2000s, with a pair of starring roles in heavily praised films -- both of which found him playing sweet-natured, open-faced little boys thrust into fantastic situations. Etel debuted with the lead in British director Danny Boyle's family-oriented fantasy Millions (2004) -- about the adventures of two little English boys who find a load of 265,000 British pounds and must contend with the ramifications of this discovery. The budding actor then teamed up with director Jay W. Russell (My Dog Skip) for the fantasy Water Horse: Legend of the Deep (2007), in which Etel played Angus MacMorrow, a Scottish lad who happens upon a strange egg next to a nearby loch, then befriends the kindly mythical creature that hatches forth from it.
