Aled Jones

Biography: Aled grew up in Llandegfan, a village in Angesey in North Wales where he attended local schools. His talent for singing was noticed at a young age and sang in several prestigious choirs before becoming famous for singing the well-loved Christmas song Walking In The Air in 1985. He went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music before becoming a successful adult singer as well as presenting several radio and television programmes including Songs of Praise. He has recently been introduced to a younger audience by reaching the semi-final of the second series of the dance show Strictly Come Dancing.
