    it's absolutely incredible. it has so many different sounds and styles. you can feel three things at the same time listening to just one song. and the lyrics are also so simple, but so meaningful. this album came to save 2020. this is all what i'm going say.

    Shawn Mendes managed to put out something different sonically that his peers haven't yet and I'm genuinely surprised by the kid. The beat drop changes midway of some songs is incredible.

He plays with the change of rhythms in the middle of the music by making an impact on music that you think is sad like Song For No One.

    I used to be a fan of Shawn and enjoy his music but this is album is one of the worst I’ve ever heard. It’s absolutely dreadful. I’m glad I could give it a zero because a 1 would be too high. Truly atrocious and I’m deleting it from my library immediately.

    This album was very good. Shawn was able to clearly express everything he feels and everything that is through the album. The melodies were VERY good. Sincerely? It surpassed my expectations of him. It is worth taking a chance. Golden Boy!

    The album is a good entertainment, but no track is unique nor memorable, except atleast for the Latin influences in Teach Me How To Love or the range of his vocals that is evident enough in Song For No One. It is sonically different from his previous albums, but is rooted in the pop genre.

    This is such a great album. It's started with Intro that makes the album feels like magic. Teach Me How To Love will make you dance. While Higher focuses on Shawn's vocals. I just want to say that production of this album is also admirable. Great job, Shawn

    The evolution of Shawn in music is evident. He managed to make an album with a roller coaster of feelings, you find everything you need in it, being a sound for a summer afternoon or a rainy and calm day. The proof that an album doesn't need a lot of grand feats to be good enough, its tracks do it all by themselves.

    it is a different sound of what he have heard before from shawn but it is still so shawn mendes, the vocals on this album are amazing and so dreamy and i could say the same for the production, the beat drops and beat changes in almost every song make the album more exciting and amazing that it already is, i also believe that is an album meant to be played on huge arenas or stadiums

    Mendes spends nearly every minute bowled over by the power of love. It’s nice to see his cup overflow so bountifully, but the near-constant awe quickly grows tiresome, especially when conveyed through clichés like, “Your body’s like an ocean, I’m devoted to explore you” and, “You’re my sunlight on a rainy day.”
