    Her best album to date, full of good songs and very mature, you can tell that she has grown a lot as a person and as an artist. Impeccable production, great lyrics and a really good vibe. Katy truly outdid herself.

    In her weakest album,Katy shows that being an empty hit maker for years won't help you when you want to show a little more substance.Supported by three forgettable singles,the album fails to show a more mature and conscious Katy,while trying to keep her roots in pop bangers.

    It's a strong pop-dance album, her best work for sure. The weaker tracks like Deja Vu can be totally forgiven, because the stronger one just like Tsunami are powerful. Beautiful. I'm impressed, Katy.

    A very weak album, some tracks are really good while most of the album is rubbish, the lyrics are embarrassing, the vocals are weak/low and so many of the song sounded the same with flat instrumentals that i can't tell which one is which, the concept of the album she described is not there on the album much

    When I heard all the tracks on her album Witness, I think this is the best album she ever produced! It has different meanings for people to absorb with and for them to seek inspiration through her music. Her comeback will be huge I tell you!

Katy Perry left deciding to change and now composed lyrics a little somber and with bands very different from what she would release years ago, the album can transport you to another world, where Katy tries to open her eyes to things that we should pay attention to.
    Despite the resiliency that was very present on the album, Katy brought strong and powerless lyrics as in Power, hey hey and pendulum, she was still able to highlight her vocals in the tracks.
    Although the first singles did not get a good approval from the public it is necessary to give a chance to this album that has great songs but that need to be digested in a slow way so as not to frighten its listeners.    … Expand

    This album is simply wonderful! Totally different from his previous works, approaching social themes that are in our faces, but that we prefer to pretend that it is not too much. At Witness, we can feel this empowerment in many ways, and again Katy Perry did not disappoint us at all!

On Teenage Dream and PRISM sure she delivered some career highlights such as Firework and Walking On Air, but on Witness, she's on top of her game with amazing lyrics and new producers.     The album is very good. To the songs with a calm voice and a contagious beat. Taking the listener, to feel several emotions in a single song, that is the legal one. Those songs with a very calm or sad voice and an exciting beat. I loved this new era different from Katy, it shows her change from venturing without fear.

    I honestly like the album. Way better than Prism. The production is great. It showed more of her vocals too. She does ballads so well because they suit her voice. She's not the best songwriter, we all know that, but this album definitely showed more growth. I can appreciate that.

    Worth the wait! Power, Tsunami and Witness are the big ones, her voice has the color I loved by her in the beginning, the last 30sec on Witness song makes me tremble, her voice in that remembers me her rendition of Black and Gold, which it's one of my favorite songs by her. She has to work with Jack Garratt more often, they did a great job.

    Overall, personally I think this new album is much better than 'PRISM'. I actually enjoy and like listening to a majority of this album and not just 8 songs like 'PRISM' or 'One of the Boys'.

    There are only a few Katy Perry songs that I enjoy listening to, but she really changed that with this album. A friend convinced me to give it a listen, and I was very surprised with her work. She has definitely matured as an artist and is starting to go in a great direction with her music.

    A Fail, As a long term believer in Max Martin and a world-class production team, I am sad to announce that this album has made Katy Perry redundant in today's pop charts (this began with 'Rise').

    Every song on the album is too slow, doesn't cut to the chase, weak production and Katy Perry doesnt seem to believe the words she is singing. I was fearful after 'Rise', 'Chained to the    A Fail, As a long term believer in Max Martin and a world-class production team, I am sad to announce that this album has made Katy Perry redundant in today's pop charts (this began with 'Rise').

    Every song on the album is too slow, doesn't cut to the chase, weak production and Katy Perry doesnt seem to believe the words she is singing. I was fearful after 'Rise', 'Chained to the Rythm', 'Swish Swish' then 'Bon Appetit'; these songs seemed stupidly ignorant and unaware of what sells and gets plays on the charts. Not a good product.

    There are a couple of songs that may chart well around 20th-10th globally IF packaged well with a decent relevant video clip. Otherwise this is a bad egg.

    Sadly Katy Perry lost favour when she began parading as a social justice warrior, political activist and dare I say, stupid puppet. At this point its over for her career but I have seen miracles like jet fuel melting steel beams.

    where's the magic from "prism"? The lyrics are more mature, true. but no real memorable songs on this album. And the UK and US chart performances of the first singles are proving me right.

    This is a pile of generic garbage. I cant believe she took 4 years to make this. The entire album is full of fillers except for 2-3 catchy songs. All the singles have been a disaster. This is the worst era for miss perry.

    i think this is the best album she ever made sound different and refreshing my mind. thank you KP!!! and welcome back!!!! can't wait to see her tour in indonesia (even tho she's not make asia's legs yet) but i wish she will!!

Starting with "Witness" which is a song with a refrain so great and that takes me to another world, "Roulette" is magnificent, it is so retro. "Tsunami" is another jewel of this great album. The three ballads "Miss You More", "Save As Draft" and "Into Me You See" are a hard blow to the heart and to cry as we watch the rain fall.     It is truly one of the best albums of the year! Just don't give up on it after the first listen. The album is such a grower! My favorites are Roulette and Power. What is great, that she is being very personal in most of the songs and it gets me every time.

    This album is incredible, totally unlike anything Katy Perry has done on her other albums and the current hit songs. She should certainly release video clips for all songs.

    O álbum está simplesmente fantástico, a evolução da Katy foi incrível! Como o Prism foi um álbum maravilhoso todos esperávamos um álbum no mesmo nível, mas a Katy conseguiu trazer algo ainda melhor. Roulette, CTTR, Swish Swish e pendulum são as que mais merecem destaque.

    Foram quase 4 anos esperando. De início houve estranhamento, mas me tocou profundamente. Obrigado Katy Perry, sempre acreditei em você. Não importa o desempenho nos charts (coisa que não dou atenção) o álbum é de uma mulher adulta para seus fãs, você está tentado nos conscientizar e eu a parabenizo por isso.

    Mind Maze is the only disappointing track on the record, while Tsunami seems a bit boring but the song is a grower. With the titletrack, Miss You More, Power and Roulette, the album offers some of the best pop songs this year. Generally I have to praise the production on the album, as well as Perry's will to experiment on many songs of the album (although the autotune-experiment on MindMind Maze is the only disappointing track on the record, while Tsunami seems a bit boring but the song is a grower.     It's her best work yet. Witness really shows the side of Katy that she never show us before. Every song is beautifully and professionally made and craft into a piece of art with a tune that you cannot deny it's fun to dance to. MASTERPIECE

    To short, best album released this year,
    The production, the vocals, the lyrics are really on point
    It was worth the wait...i'm in love with every song except Power i feel it's boring and my favorites are Miss You More, Mind Maze, Bigger Than Me & Tsunami.

    This is a fantastic album.Not deliberately exaggerated,Lyrics are easy to understand, but at the same time it is meaningful.Album production is also commendable, and artwork complement each other.

    Es uno de los mejores álbumes que puede tener katy perry,. trae consigo sonidos de los 80 , baladas bien hechas y canciones para bailar ( en otras palabra , todo lo que se tiene que tener para un buen álbum).

    So disappointed. I really liked the first 3 singles, but they with Roulette, Witness and Save As Draft are the only good tracks on this album . I think it is too boring, the tracks sound like they're all the same, it's dull and monotonous, full of filler. I'm sorry Katy, but this is a really bad album.

    THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM OF 2017! It's refreshing to listen to new Katy Perry tunes that I've been waiting for almost 4 years and it's really worth the wait, this album is very different from her other albums, I'm in love with her vocal because is on point and I think she really outdid herself with WITNESS, I recommended this!

    literally the best album in 2017 so far and I'm sure it will be the best album that released this year! Yes these are very big words to speak right now but this shows how good the album is! It might be her best album. Every song in the album shows how hard she worked for this album!

    While it's certainly missing any form of coherency, Witness does feel like you're growing with Perry - going on this journey that's helped her find new ground and a reinvigorated appreciation for all walks of the pop music spectrum.

    It’s a real shame Witness has come out as a bit of a disjointed mess, as there’s a decent record somewhere in there, but it gets lost in the fog of endless guest productions and co-writes that miss the point entirely.
