Beautiful.. just fantastic.... Loved the Trashies for 23 glorious music filled years. I would expect the songwriting to get stale but NO, they have come up with an album that betters the disappointing last album. Just brilliant, I wonder how many other bands are out there making incredible music like this and are waiting to be heard.

Criminally underrated band. They were drowned asunder the Grunge tsunami of the '90s but these poppy Scots are every bit as good as bands/acts like Travis and Keane. Really too bad they didn't get more recognition. But this album has some beautiful songs: Best Days On Earth, All Night, Aint That Something ... it's lush, sophisticated pop.

Wild Pendulum soars with the sounds of a band comfortable in their own skin, free of past pressures and ready to celebrate the present in magnificent style.

A typical triumph of both will and skill. [No. 132, p.61]

Overall, Wild Pendulum is a very good record that will please their small and adoring fanbase, but likely won't win over too many new converts. At this point, though, they know full well where they stand and who they are. Music this gorgeous, fragile and emotional should be embraced and celebrated.
