    Louis Tomlinson delivered a beautifully written debut album, which I was not as surprised to see when I noticed he wrote most one direction songs. The thing that did surprise me was the fact that he managed to keep a consistent, clean, beautiful old school sound through all the record mixed with heartfelt feelings ripping out of his voice with every song. I hadn’t had the experience of aLouis Tomlinson delivered a beautifully written debut album, which I was not as surprised to see when I noticed he wrote most one direction songs. I hadn’t had the experience of a singer transmitting his feelings in such a raw way through both his songwriting and his vocal ability to make you feel the lyrics he sings.     Walls is very interesting, it's amazing how Louis shows his talent in these songs. It's incredible in this becouse he shows his capacity to can interpret differents types of music and I really like it, and how he could used his life stories very well to make these great songs. Congratulations for your work Louis Tomlinson.

    it's an amazing album, louis has an angelic voice and the lyrics are so deep and meaningful you feel like you know the singers feelings and personality and you can actually indentify yourself with it

    I’m not one of Louis’ fans, so I can understand many hesitations by people to listen to this album. But after listening, I can definitely say that Tomlinson is underrated and overlooked by the general public. In Walls, Louis shows himself through his lyrics and almost every song can be found relatable in some sort of way to individual people (especially songs like ‘Two Of Us’, ‘Walls’, andI’m not one of Louis’ fans, so I can understand many hesitations by people to listen to this album. But after listening, I can definitely say that Tomlinson is underrated and overlooked by the general public. In Walls, Louis shows himself through his lyrics and almost every song can be found relatable in some sort of way to individual people (especially songs like ‘Two Of Us’, ‘Walls’, and ‘Fearless’). If you are a fan of indie music and Oasis-inspired tracks, you’ll love this album. Tomlinson proves that he’s much more than 1D, and I’m thoroughly surprised by this piece by Louis! Don’t always trust the critics: this deserves more than a 50 or 60 score.… Expand

    I’ve always admired Louis’ way to capture his feelings and turn them into wonderful lyrics. Listening to a few of his interviews about himself and then listening to the album from top to bottom makes you understand that it’s 100% him. The melodies of Walls fit his influences perfectly and the lyrics is that of a person who’s able to put his heart into his music. “Walls” has been in theI’ve always admired Louis’ way to capture his feelings and turn them into wonderful lyrics. Another good point in Louis’ favor is his voice: I hardly ever get to connect to someone’s voice, to feel the emotions they are trying to share.. it always happens with Louis’ voice, every note hits the right spot in your heart. This album is a must for anyone who knows about love, pain, loss, happiness.. all merged with beautiful words and melodies. Good choice on the album title, “Walls”, following the idea of breaking down walls... as in breaking down walls of “men can’t be seen as vulnerable” too. I’d recommend this to anyone who wanted to feel something, to feel understood and less alone.… Expand

    After almost 4 years of waiting, we finally have Walls.
    Great album to start his solo career.
    Louis Tomlinson has a good musical potential. His lyrics count hundreds of hustorias and his singles are very catchy.
    Two of us is a beautiful song written for your mother.

    What I absolutely love about the artist is his talent to write lyrics. You get get from songs that all of them are written from personal experience and are very honest. With that songs gives you inspiration, courage or provoke you to rethink some things

    Walls, lyrically, conveys a range of emotions that bring the listener into the thought process of the writer. Its easy to feel the sense of love, loss & struggle of Louis. His pop rock influence is so apparent and i feel theres more of it coming in the albums hell be bringing out

    "Walls" ,the debut solo album by Louis Tomlinson is a wonderful piece of art. His improvement, both as a lyricist and a performer, can be seen. The honesty in his lyrics and voice is amazing. It is undoubtedly one of the best albums .

    The album really has something hidden deep down, like the best composition and pleasant sounds at the median level maybe it didn't know how to work hard and until some loose songs are better than some of the album. But it brings a 90's vibe, and fits perfectly in your voice and that's spectacular. It was a good launch, but I hope a lot further forward.

    love how each song tells a part of some story and its almost magical how he convey his feelings and experiences through them. he reflect his essence in everything he do and its perceived perfectly, its like his seal. also the lyrics he has are really good, joining with the incredible sound and voice, they make it wonderful. i loved the whole album.

    You can say whatever you want, but this album has helped me and so many people that i can't see it like nothing but a piece of art, Louis did his very best and this time, he didn't care about anything and that's why i loved it

    Try as he may, Tomlinson has not quite progressed from featured voice to solo artist. For all the major changes in his life, his music seems to be stuck in place. You can take the boy out of the boyband, but not the boyband out of the boy.

    Even if the songs on Walls aren't the most distinct or memorable, they come from a place of authenticity that's genuinely heartwarming and enjoyable. Like any other settled adult, he's perfectly content to stick to the reliable and Walls winds up being the most mature and natural of the ex-1D bunch.
