    I was incredibly surprised by Tomlinson's debut. Given his past in One Direction and his previous singles, I was expecting him to go down the pop road - with generic beats and uninspired lyrics. How amazed was I to discover that he was brave enough to follow the path of britpop! The melodies made me nostalgic and his voice is a delight to hear. The lyrics are honest and sometimes painful,I was incredibly surprised by Tomlinson's debut.     Walls is one of the precious album that I have heard in my whole life. The songs are so good, the lyrics is great and the instrumental it’s on point. You won’t regret listening it

    The massive Oasis inspiration is the easy thing to notice on Walls, as well as the lack of originality. Tomlinson needs to carve his own path soon, as most of his ex-bandmates. He is indeed talented but he needs to make sincere and original music, in order to be taken seriously. I have to admit though that Two of Us is a seriously moving song, maybe his best.

    I'm not a fan of Louis Tomlinson, but I love the album, it's really incredible, the vocals, lyrics, everything about it sounds really good.

    I loved the album, the songs and the feelings they bring, at the same time that it refers to a great nostalgia makes us addicted to the great confessions of romance. Without a doubt, Louis Tomlinson managed with this album to bring a great feeling to those who listen to him.

    Louis Tomlinson did a good job keeping true to himself and not trying to write hits for charts. Sure, a few songs are flawed but there is no way we can ignore he is, in fact, a new artist (on his own). Some lyrics are very deep and personal, Only The Brave is a great tune.

    No songs on this album is bad. Going agaisnt the wave of popular musis today and it feels fresh. The lyrics are very good. You really feel it comes from his heart. Reallty good album!

    Com Walls, Louis Tomlinson nos entrega um álbum coeso. As músicas Only the Brave, Fearless, Walls e Too Young nos fazem enxergar o coração de Tomlinson.

    Is very good, for his first album it was an extreme surprise the mature sound and with references to Oasis for example, with songs with references in their origins but with small autobiographical elements. Has great songs, good work.

    Louis Tomlinson took his time to release this album, and he did well. Walls is the story of a boy, not yet a man, who's seen too much too soon. Who loved and lost and suffered, buy you won't find any sadness in his words, if only Two Of us, a heart-wrenching ballade for his late mom. There's a little something for every taste, twelve songs in total, from the firing up Kill My Mind to theLouis Tomlinson took his time to release this album, and he did well. Walls is the story of a boy, not yet a man, who's seen too much too soon. Who loved and lost and suffered, buy you won't find any sadness in his words, if only Two Of us, a heart-wrenching ballade for his late mom. There's a little something for every taste, twelve songs in total, from the firing up Kill My Mind to the Oasis-inspired Walls (that Liam Gallagher himself approved of). But also some sweet words for someone who can not yet see the beauty in themselves in Perfect Now (the song has violons, everyone), the story of a young love (maybe too young?) in Too Young and its follow up in Always You, as well as Fearless which might just be my favorite song on the album as of now, closely followed by Walls and Only The Brave (the words "It's a church of burnt romances and I'm too far gone to pray" still get me), a song shorter than two minutes that was the perfect way to end up the album, leaving in our minds the echo of Louis' unmistakable voice.… Expand

    It's amazing. My native language isn't english, but I understood every single lyric of this. The album it's truly magical. I can't imagine a better to describe than: Authentic. He's still finding his place, is the first álbum yet. So, for me, it was worth the wait. Amazing vocals, melodies and beats. My favorite one personaly it's "Always You", it's so well produced and kept me emotional,It's amazing. My native language isn't english, but I understood every single lyric of this.     Try as he may, Tomlinson has not quite progressed from featured voice to solo artist. For all the major changes in his life, his music seems to be stuck in place. You can take the boy out of the boyband, but not the boyband out of the boy.

    Solo debuts with this much expectation are incredible challenges. While “Walls” isn’t a craven ripoff or an attempt to recapture One Direction highs, it’s not yet clear exactly who Tomlinson is without them.

    Even if the songs on Walls aren't the most distinct or memorable, they come from a place of authenticity that's genuinely heartwarming and enjoyable. Like any other settled adult, he's perfectly content to stick to the reliable and Walls winds up being the most mature and natural of the ex-1D bunch.
