Bolder, brighter and better than ever, Waiting A Lifetime is the sound of a band having fun being free.

Waiting a Lifetime is the end result of a lot of hard work, experimentation, and craft, yet it still sounds alive and full of emotion.

This record can be the perfect soundtrack to slacking in the sun or it can be deconstructed, stripped of its intricacies and analysed in great depth, allowing for new discoveries even on the 20th listen--and it’s this diversity that proves why Splashh are not a drop in the ocean.

At least there is a handful of genuinely winning tunes--See Through, in particular, is sunny indie that recalls Pavement at their least obtuse--amid the more formulaic fare.

The songs are consistently decent, even if they don’t have the edge and the energy of their Comfort sisters, but the vast majority are ultimately forgettable.
