Aug 22, 2022This is the perfect album. Lana is a poet and be able to have her reading her poetry in my room is the best experience ever. God I love her so much!

Aug 22, 2022Beautiful piece of work. Lana's poetry is just as her music, at the same time it's very poetic, elegant, clean, but still so mysterious and melancholic. I think that with this one she , once again, proved that she's is one of, maybe the best songwriter of our time. And she truly is one of the best artists ever.

Feb 3, 2023Her voice in this so soft and magical, she’s really a goddess, it makes me so emotional while listening in to this.

Lana Del Rey is the God! -
Aug 8, 2023Lana creates a safe space with this one, sharing her thoughts for a brief moment through poetry, it's so magically writing, and her soft voice just make the experience better.

Apr 16, 2021With this collection of poems, Lana Del Rey offers an alternate view of the sun-dazzled California dreaming that fuels her songs. Her spoken word pieces reveal a more immediate lyrical sophistication, but they maintain the strange and powerful magic Del Rey has been cultivating her entire career.

Sep 4, 2020Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is one of the most fully formed albums she has put out. Yes, some of the rhymes are clunky and a tad juvenile, but there is a sort of elegance to them. Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is the album I’ve always wanted Del Rey to make. It’s brave, in a naïve way, and filled with some of glorious subtle backing tracks.

Sep 4, 2020While at times ‘Violet…’ shows Lana’s fine lyrical prowess, quotes primed for Tumblr captions, most of the time it’s more sixth former trying their best to impress at their first slam poetry event.
