Trench is a lyrical, musical and everything in between masterpiece, the production is top tier, the lyricism is out of this world, from track 1 to track 14 it's a story, a journey to be taken, an experience to be felt, it's simply how an album should be, just perfection.

Amazing work, I like Twenty One Pilots music in general, Blurryface is my all time favorite album, so Trench wasn't grabbing my attention as much. I still loved it, but I can only enjoy a few songs from it, that's why I gave it 8.

Despite the fact I gave this a 9, it is one of my favourite albums of all time. From the amazing emotional and powerful bassline in "Jumpsuit", to the powerful and boisterous rap verses in "Levitate", to the catchy choruses in the songs "My Blood", "Chlorine", and "The Hype", and the piano-laden and emotional tracks "Neon Gravestones" and "Leave The City" this album has a variety of thingsDespite the fact I gave this a 9, it is one of my favourite albums of all time. There are only a few negatives. "Bandito" as a track feels like it takes up too much time and I don't fully connect with the vague idea of the track. "Pet Cheetah" does work in the context of what it is about but I am not a fan of how tacky it feels. "Smithereens" loses the album's amazing 5-track momentum up to that point a bit, but still works incredibly well as a song.

Despite the variety of genres and styles, each track feels like it comes from the same place. I have seen most of these songs live in concert, and Jumpsuit felt so incredibly powerful with its piano verse of defeat. This album has helped me the most out of any out there, and Jumpsuit is still my favourite song to perform live.

For me, a long-lasting TOP fan, Trench feels like the best and most mature album of the band. Numerous beautiful tracks touching various topics, hidden lore and the shifting pace of the album created a unique experience that is still enjoyable.

Good album, but I think that blurryface was better, and first album called Twenty one pilots was much better.

A pretty diverse album but mostly pretty calm, we go from the mainstream vibe of Cut My Lip to the ethereal Bandito, and many other different vibes this album gives. Neon Gravestones gets my gold medal out of all songs in this album, but there's not a single song I'm meh about

one of their best albums so far. everything is perfect in this album .absolouly genius lyricism. the story gets more interesting and gives us the answers to a lot of questions from the last album. the production really good. Tyler emphasizes his high notes through all the songs and it sounds so good.

Possibly my favourite album of all time. The concept is so cool, every song sounds unique but ties together perfectly and the lyrics are amazing, often emotional and beautiful. Together with some of the best production I’ve heard this album is near perfect.

This is easy one of the best albums I've ever heard in my entire life: the structure, the melodies, the lyrics, the production. The whole album feels like a complete experience, from start to end it's surprisingly well done, this is a pure jewel of alternative rock.

Such a sophisticated piece. It hits in its own way with a much more suspenseful and dense ambient, but at the same time captivating. Also convening a masterful production, their best in my opinion.

The album isn't Blurryface, but this doesn't mean it's worse than it. Like all the other TOP songs, we have emotion, lyrics and good beats. It's worthy listening to it if u really like their job, but don't go expecting you are going to listen some kind of "blurryface part 2". They evolve and their music will change with them.

Take my recommendation and forget about the most deeply conceptual parts of this concept album--which just seems like a lot of work--and enjoy the many parts of Trench that don’t require a thirst for symbolic origin stories. There are plenty of these, like “Morph” and “My Blood,” which sport falsetto R&B hooks, somewhat in the tradition of the previous album’s best track, “Heavydirtysoul.”
