He talks about his Depression and suicidal thoughts that get to him. He also talks about how he needs to strengthen his relationship with God. It's RealMusic!!

The album is also talks about how he is searching for himself with all the things that life throws at him. This is his best album by far.

Aug 17, 2019Meaningful lyrics and well told stories using a variety of styles of music are what you will get with this album. There is some hard hitting, upbeat rap songs, some pop songs with catchy choruses, some very cinematic songs, some chill songs, and even a piano ballad! Its a long album but its a great one. I would recommend anyone reading this to give it a try.

By stripping that away, his barrage of words – married with the booming, cinematic production (credited as NF and Tommee Profitt) – is surprisingly digestible.

He spends much of The Search darting in and out of an overbearing rappity-rap snarl-yell that can cut right through you if you don’t relate to his roiling anger.

He confronts his incurable sadness head-on, and it’s easy to identify with his mental health struggles. But for an album about depression, The Search contains a noticeable lack of tension and interior texture.
