Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is known for their flawless discography and they proved it again through this album which all the members participated in. All five members participated in the lyrics/composing and the youngest member, Hueningkai, also co-produced the track "Dear Sputnik".

I’m very picky when I listen to Kpop albums and really only like a handful of full-length albums. TXT is one of the few artists I’ve found that have made un-skippable albums and on top of that, they venture into all kinds of genres (they really went from KRock with 0x1=LOVESONG to hyperpop in Frost, that diversity is unseen in Kpop) while executing them with great production and lyricism.I’m very picky when I listen to Kpop albums and really only like a handful of full-length albums. First, it explores different genres tastefully from pop, hyper pop to hip hop and anthem pop rock. They keep their signature which is having bright songs with darker themes. The underrated Ice Cream is a great example. It's chorus is nearly childish but it's not just a nursery rhyme. It also compares happiness to an ice cream. The joy but also how it can melt just like that. Love as a theme is more to the front than it ever has been whether it's about shouting your love or the desperation that comes with it like the title track. Then there's anti romantic that about being cynical when it comes to love when you just want to have it but won't admit it. The melody is smooth, so smooth that it gave birth to a dance and a trend on tiktok. You also have songs that follow up previous songs from other albums. There's No Rules, the funky follow up to New Rules that despite its cheerful beat is about a person being lost in the aftermath of the pandemic. This feeling of being even more lost is portrayed in What if I had been that PUMA? That mouthful of a title hides a hip hop track about being balanced between different choices. The use of autotune in this one can not be liked by everyone but it fits the song to a tee. The company has a tendency and that's not a lite, to use a lot of autotune but I'm sad it's seen as the devil when it can be a well made stylistic choice like here. To end this, um sorry if this review seems confusing, I'm like that haha and it's also not my mother tongue. For those that stayed, thanks for your resilience The album

This album is a demonstration of how BigHit Music’s in-house producers and TXT members' composing skills blend smoothly to experiment with sound in clever but relatable narratives. ... The Chaos Chapter: Freeze is a surreal album in which a mix of sounds, music genres, and metaphorical lyrics seem out of shape – until you step to the right distance to appreciate the whole painting.

Aside from the delicate "Anti-Romantic," the rest of the effort keeps the energy high with its hybrid blend of electronic, hip-hop, and anthemic rock flourish, resulting in a wholly engaging listen that ends all too soon.

This new record not only keeps up that 100 per cent strike rate of golden tunes, but also gives us their best release to date. It’s an album that represents huge growth. Their vocals are more powerful and emotive than ever. ... Like true Gen Z artists, they pull from an extensive palette of genres, but manage to make each – be it angsty rock or a return to disco-pop – feel like it’s a sound they’ve been honing for ages.
