    I did try to like this album but unfortunately it lacks something that makes it standout if i'm being honest. Each track borrows chords from sounds we have heard before in the last 20 years and strangely each track sounds like rushed takes of her previous music in her catalogue. In some tracks, the forced Mariah Carey-esque sound takes a toll on the song and is honestly laughable to beI did try to like this album but unfortunately it lacks something that makes it standout if i'm being honest.     For me, this is the definition of an overrated and over hyped album. Because of this I feel like in 10-20 years, it will not be remembered. Small shelf life for this one.

    Really not what I'm expecting from her, I can't get songs like break up with your boyfriend cause I'm bored, if you're bored then just go to sleep no need to separate the other this is just such nonsense. Have to admit that production on this album is outstanding but the lyrically in this album is so poor and there's some song that doesn't have a good message.     This whole album is one of the most overrated ever. You can see how desesperate for numbers she was, releasing album after album just cause she was on her peak. I rather quality over cuantity.

    Ariana is very overrated in the music industry, She has a good voice but the whiny, cat like tone she approaches most of the time is a big turn off for me.

    While I appreciate her voice range the squeacky, high pitched sound feels immature and unpolished, unlike Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston. Also, the entire feel of the album seems immature with teenage type of writing like "u" instead of "you".

    I really liked this album, it's my favorite of hers and probably one of my favorites of all time. I think its her most cohesive work so far. All the songs feel different, yet have a similar enough sound to give them a collective identity. The lyrics are simple but really beautiful,

    thank u, next builds on Sweetener by switching modes of scale. It’s less about looking at the world than being by yourself, more focused on the textures of memory than our actions stemming from it. ... thank u, next is also Ariana’s most stunning vocal album.

    [7 Rings] is a hit, but isn’t actually all that great, using Rodgers and Hammerstein’s My Favourite Things as its sing-song musical base. The rest of the album remains of interest for its evolutions in sound, delivery and attitude.
