I think Demi loved working on this album very much. The song Tell Me You Love Me and You Don't Do It for Me Anymore are the highlights of the album for me.

TMYLM reminds us that Demi Lovato is a star and a household name in the music industry! Without a doubt one of the best vocalists ever. Her 6th LP doesn’t disappoint and is full of beautiful ballads as well as powerful anthems.

Incredible album! Demi constantly brings such raw emotion to every project she works on, and this is by far her most cohesive body of work. It touches on so many topics and her vocals are astounding. It’s so underrated, she deserves more recognition as an artist and vocalist.

A truly cohesive masterpiece. There isn't a single song that seems misplaced. Demi Lovato really gave us an R&B-Soul infused pop album like she promised. Demi Lovato really gave us an R&B-Soul infused pop album like she promised. Daddy Issues displays and innovative and beautiful production, while she toys with dark subjects in a funny way. Songs like You Don't Do It For Me Anymore and Ruin The Friendship really showcase her amazing lyricism and use of double meanings. Another standout, Cry Baby showcases her amazing vocals, where she blends a sultry, sexy voice with powerhouse, emotive vocals. Along with the amazing production and guitar, this song would easily be Top 3 on anyone's list. She closes out the album with two sonically similar tracks, Concentrate and Hitchhiker, where she slows down the pace of the album and leaves us feeling giddy inside at the end. Expand

The LP gets bogged down in chilled-out trap pop (see the Lil Wayne-assisted "Lonely"). But slow jams like "Concentrate" perfectly balance the downtempo and the energetic.

This is where Tell Me You Love Me improves on Lovato’s previous albums: It gives you enough space to see Demi as something other than a no-holds-barred belter.

The songs aren’t hackwork--they’re catchy and funny and sexy and daring.
