    Definitivamente es de los mejores trabajos discográficos que puedan haber existido y la acepptación del público y las ventas lo demuestran, más sin embargo la crítica muestra cierto favoritismo por la tucán del pop, no entiendo porque la tuvieron que meter en sus reseñas, debe de ser por que la dejó opacada con Born This Way.     Perfeição pop. Um álbum incrível, com músicas que você pode ouvir em qualquer momento da sua vida. Teenage Dream faz jus ao nome, com todos os nuances dessa fase (mas de um olhar maduro), amores, medos, aventuras, inseguranças e claro muitos sonhos. Simplesmente um álbum hipnotizante.

    Eu me senti tão abraçado! Cheio de músicas dançantes e letras positivas que falavam de sentimentos que eu não tinha experimentado e como era delicioso estar vivo! Foi uma era totalmente visual, e por estar precisando de mais raios de sol na minha vida, logo fez com eu mergulhasse naquele mundo algodão-doce e virasse um “fanboy” realmente aficionado na cantora que flertava com aliens e queEu me senti tão abraçado! Cheio de músicas dançantes e letras positivas que falavam de sentimentos que eu não tinha experimentado e como era delicioso estar vivo! Foi uma era totalmente visual, e por estar precisando de mais raios de sol na minha vida, logo fez com eu mergulhasse naquele mundo algodão-doce e virasse um “fanboy” realmente aficionado na cantora que flertava com aliens e que dava festas loucas numa abençoada sexta-feira a noite; cheia de alter egos e looks marcantes, foi uma era memorável que definiu minha geração! Consumia tudo sobre as músicas, os bastidores e ensaios de foto. Ficava o dia todo tentando entrar no site da finada MTV Brasil com minha internet discada pra fazer com que os singles pegassem número um no TOP 10 MTV e aquilo tudo era um escape pra realidade difícil que eu estava vivendo.
    Foram as palavras e toque de felicidade que a Katy colocou na minha vida que fizeram eu realmente entender que estava tudo bem ser quem eu era, que mesmo se eu me sentisse como uma sacolinha de plástico vazia voando por aí eu era uma verdadeira explosão de fogos de artifício esperando para acontecer e eu finalmente entendi que sim, eu merecia viver e merecia ser feliz! Lembro de uma entrevista honesta da cantora falando sobre como tinha sido sua infância cristã e como ela também era proibida, assim como eu, de consumir coisas que não fossem relacionadas a igreja, aquilo me deu esperanças e me ajudou a criar energias e construir o lugar seguro que estou hoje: mesmo que seja feito de madeira e que algumas vezes algum lobo mal venha assoprar e derrubar toda fundação, a cantora me ensinou a como reconstruir tudo de novo, ela me ensinou como me reerguer, pois, também precisou fazer isso diversas vezes.    … Expand

    1. Teenage Dream (10/10): É uma faixa simplesmente incrível, calma no começo e forte no refrão, com certeza uma das melhores do disco. Representa o disco perfeitamente. 2. Last Friday Night (10/10): No começo, não gostava muito dessa música, porem com o tempo eu fui me acostumando e agora, pra mim é uma das melhores, além da letra divertidinha.     1. Teenage Dream (10/10):
    É uma faixa simplesmente incrível, calma no começo e forte no refrão, com certeza uma das melhores do disco. Representa o disco perfeitamente.

    2. Last Friday Night (10/10):
    No começo, não gostava muito dessa música, porem com o tempo eu fui me acostumando e agora, pra mim é uma das melhores, além da letra divertidinha.

    3. California Gurls (10/10):
    Apesar de ser um dos singles mais fracos e fáceis, a nostalgia é muito forte. Foi bem pensada e e bem POP.

    4. Firework (10/10):
    Uma potência vocal incrível, um instrumental perfeito e uma letra muito importante.

    5. Peacock (08/10):
    Os fãs da Katy são bem divididos com essa faixa, uns ama e outros odeiam. Eu fico no meio, apesar da letra estupida, eu acho engraçada e boba.

    6. Circle The Drain (08/10):
    É legal, mas nada demais, simples e estranha na primeira escutada.

    7. The One That Got Away (10/10):
    É linda e emocionante, não poderia ser melhor. A melodia é genial.

    8. E.T (10/10):
    Pra mim, essa é a melhor faixa do Standard. Perfeita, o instrumental é maravilhoso, o refrão é viciantemente bom (não é um pop chato que fica na cabeça, realmente é bem pensado).

    9. Who Am I Living For (08/10):
    É bacana. As melhores partes são quando Katy atinge a nota alta no refrão. Mas não é nada demais.

    10. Pearl (08/10):
    Essa faixa poderia ser single, acho fofa e poderia ser uma transição de The One That Got Away. Quase recebe nota 09/10.

    11. Hummingbird Heartbeat (09/10):
    É a melhor non-sigle do álbum. Poderia ser single, pois simplesmente entrega tudo que eles entregam, realmente é muito boa. Por um décimo, essa música não recebeu nota 10/10.

    12. Not Like Te Movies (08/10):
    Realmente, não é grande coisa. Essa música ameaça crescer (oque seria incrível), mas caí totalmente. Bem fraquinha.

    Simplesmente minha música favorita de toda a minha vida. Essa música tem os vocais muitos lindos e definidos. Quando essa música toca, você é transportado para outro mundo. PERFEITA.

    15. Dressin' Up (08/10):
    É boa, mas não faz oque as outras duas fazem. THE COMPLETE CONFECTION - 91/100 9/10 no Metacritic. _____________________________________________________________________________ É um álbum excelente. Muitos dizem que é "only singles", mas eu discordo, pois músicas muito memoráveis como Pearl, Hummingbird Heartbeat e outras. Os singles são perfeitos.     The singles are the best thing on the album. Without them, the recent "Smile" with all the pop monotony would have turned out.

Last Friday Night é a música que não pode faltar em nenhuma festinha com os amigos, maravilhosa, dançante e inesquecível eu diria. The One That Got Away é aquela balada clássica da Katy, um divisor de águas. Muita gente considera essa música, por sua autenticidade e características únicas e especiais, uma das melhores da carreira. Eu tô nesse grupo. Não é minha preferida mas está entre as melhores. Uma pena Peacock não ter virado single, seria o sexto #1 de Katy no álbum, quebrando o recorde do eterno rei do pop. As faixas não-single realmente poderiam ser melhores, mas isso não diminui a aclamação do álbum e o fato dele ter sido, sem dúvida, o maior ato da música pop dos últimos 20 anos.… Expand

    After some severe front-loading, the album is filled out by songs that are too dark or lifeless to work alongside the Candyland motif of the cover and sunbeamy splash of California Gurls.

    There's none of the ABBA or Cardigans influence she claimed, nor any of the fun she seems to have in real life. For now she just sounds like another of pop's Stepford Wives.
