    HIT after HIt after HIT, Classic after classic. How can this album be so low rated by the critics? Teenage Dream is THE pop bible, and helped shape modern pop music. This album alone solidifies Katy's legacy as a pop LEGEND.

    Teenage Dream is the best pop album of the past decade, although the "Experts" say no, the general public yes, and that this bible of pop broke many records at that time, so for me it has a 90 and nothing more

    To judge Perry as inauthentic or unoriginal would be wrong; as with any great ad campaign, uncanny familiarity is her greatest achievement. However, for all the pomp and watermelon costumes, Perry is primarily a smart and personal pop songwriter. And «Teenage Dream» shows in carefully selected spots-that she's ready to grow up.

Sin duda el mejor álbum del 2010, teenage dream sin duda logró impactar y generar hits atemporales como firework o teenage dream, realmente muchas artistas han hecho pop como el estilo de katy y no se llevan ni la mitad de las malas criticas por parte de los "conocedores en música" como son los rolling stones, una revista machista y realmente menosprecia el trabajo de katy. si realmente existiera el pop básico, ese sería el de Lady Gaga.… Expand

    É triste como a crítica massacrou esse álbum, e ao longo dos anos se tornou uma Bíblia do Pop, enfim pagaram com a língua, 7 nomeações no Grammy e o único álbum feminino da história a possuir o Spotlight Awards.

    Since I do not know the best way to start this review, maybe I should just begin by saying I am very impressed with Katy Perry’s Sophomore album, Teenage Dream. Like its predecessor (though more on the “pop side”), Teenage Dream does a wonderful job of being a wonderful blend of rock and pop, which makes it a blast to listen to the whole way through. From catchy lyrics to ballads about lost love to the occasional slap bass, this album packs in a lot of punch.

    I wish I could include all my song-by-song commentary, but that would push the review past the character limit.

    Overall, I was very happy with Teenage Dream. I know I’m listening to this as if someone is watching a movie released 15 years ago, but I am very excited to listen to Perry’s subsequent release. This pop-rock direction she is heading in is very enjoyable and I just find myself wanting more. Her fun lyrics combined with her outstanding music make Teenage Dream a winner for me, and should also be a hit for the greater pop community (some rock fans may really get down with this as well, like I did). Highlights: Teenage Dream, Last Friday Night, California Gurls, Firework, Circle The Drain, The One That Got Away, E.T., Pearl, Hummingbird Heartbeat, Part Of Me, Wide Awake, and Dressin’ Up.    … Expand

    The pop bible. Katy has built the most perfect pop album of the decade. The singles have now become worldwide hits and legendary anthems. This is just about the most perfect album of the decade and no album can or will match the excellence of teenage dream.
