    I give this album a 7. This album, overall, is not bad, but it is not really fully impressive and makes me addicted to it. I love some tracks like "God is a woman" (which talks about female empowerment), "no tears left to cry" (which talks about Ariana's state of mind and feelings, especially after the Manchester bombing event), "breathin" (a dance pop track which talks about Ariana'sI give this album a 7. This album, overall, is not bad, but it is not really fully impressive and makes me addicted to it. I love some tracks like "God is a woman" (which talks about female empowerment), "no tears left to cry" (which talks about Ariana's state of mind and feelings, especially after the Manchester bombing event), "breathin" (a dance pop track which talks about Ariana's anxiety after all of the bad things happening to her), "get well soon" (a beautiful soul and R&B track which represents Ariana's emotions, love, and sadness. And I also love the message behind it). I also like "everytime" and "goodnight n go" because they are catchy and sweet songs. I don't like some tracks like "sweetener", "better off", "pete davidson", "the light is coming", "blazed" because either they have repetitive lyrics, weird arrangements, boring production, bland melodies...… Expand

    It’s definitely not her best. I have mixed feelings about Sweetener because there is 5 songs that I can’t stand and they were all produced by Pharrell Williams... Dangerous Woman and thank u, next are still her best albums.

    Tiene muy buenas canciones como God Is A Woman, NASA y Raindrops. Sin embargo muchas suenan a relleno. Le doy créditos por intentar algo más experimental y cambiar un poco el sonido que llevaba, sin embargo este disco no es uno de mis favoritos. Si no fuera porque honestamente pienso que God Is a Woman es una obra de arte de principio a fin (producción, letra, visuales, coreografías enTiene muy buenas canciones como God Is A Woman, NASA y Raindrops. Sin embargo muchas suenan a relleno. Le doy créditos por intentar algo más experimental y cambiar un poco el sonido que llevaba, sin embargo este disco no es uno de mis favoritos. Si no fuera porque honestamente pienso que God Is a Woman es una obra de arte de principio a fin (producción, letra, visuales, coreografías en los shows en vivo, etc) mi puntuación sería bastante más baja.     Um dos melhores álbuns que ja ouvi em toda minha vida. Com referências, com mensagens sobre feminismo, depressão, ansiedade, relacionamento instável etc.., Um álbum muito profundo sobre a vida pessoal de minha Rainha Ariana Grande. Sou Arianator, porém não por isso que dou 10, e sim pela qualidade e sonoridade que este disco possui. Uma obra prima, raridade de Álbum.

    such a great album, I honestly can't see why the songs produced by pharrell are getting a lot of hate, he added to this album this experimental and tropical vibe that makes it so unique and so special, definitely one of her most cohesive albums (Along with thank u next and dangerous woman)

    Sin duda el mejor álbum de Ariana Grande, la producción es muy buena y la lírica se nota más madura respecto a sus anteriores trabajos. Los singles son de lo mejor del álbum, que si bien tiene tropiezos como the light is coming, se escuchan sonidos muy frescos. La armonización simplemente es excelsa, de las mejores vocales que he escuchado. 91/100

    It's Ariana's best album. The themes are well-developed, the lyrics are powerful, the sound is not always the same, it's a mix of pop and R&B. The whole album sounds like a story. Good job, one of my favourite albums of 2018.

    lets be honest, most of the tracks sounds boring and flat, but when she wants drop us real songs she does! R.E.M, god is a woman, breathin, everytime, no tears left to cry, goodnight n go and get well soon its on top! but unffortnely i dont like the rest of the album. (7/10)

    to me, her best work to date. "thank u, next" and "positions" are also god tier, but "sweetener" was something next level. her best album, her best era. it just stays unmatched.

    Game changing album in her career, with Sweetener she became the most powerful woman in the industry. Album contains elements of different genres and that's what makes it's production so interesting and unique. Sweetener is also her most experimental and non-commercial album, because of that many people found it strange and unfortunately they don't like it.

    É o album mais pessoal da Ariana e também o mais controverso pois tem musicas que para alguns pode significar blasfemia (na verdade God is woman é uma musica de empoderamento feminino com algumas alusões á obra divina talvez seja por isso que religiosos não gostaram), tem também uma musica dedicada ao seu ex-noivo (a canção é perfeita o que estraga é o seu titulo), na minha opinião esteÉ o album mais pessoal da Ariana e também o mais controverso pois tem musicas que para alguns pode significar blasfemia (na verdade God is woman é uma musica de empoderamento feminino com algumas alusões á obra divina talvez seja por isso que religiosos não gostaram), tem também uma musica dedicada ao seu ex-noivo (a canção é perfeita o que estraga é o seu titulo), na minha opinião este album é muito angelical tanto que na musica intro parece que estamos entrando no céu, esse album conseguiu ajudar mentalmente a Ariana pois ela passou por um trauma (atentado no seu show em Manchester) depois disso ela ficou muito abalada e acabou ficando mais ansiosa, melancólica, e sensível nas coisas, a produção do album foi uma auto-ajuda para ela conseguir superar e seguir em frente, por isso ela conseguiu se abrir e relatar todas as suas dores nessa album com a ajuda do produtor Pharrell. É um ótimo album para ficar calmo/a e com muitos conceitos incríveis por isso minha nota é 8.0… Expand

    This album works so perfectly because that state of mind + aesthetics + working with 3 types of different production teams (max martin, pharrell and her rnb/trap friends) results in    I love how when it got released the fans hated it, but it aged like a FINE WINE. hopefully in the future it could undoubtedly present itself as her best and most acclaimed album, similar to mariah’s butterfly.
    This album works so perfectly because that state of mind + aesthetics + working with 3 types of different production teams (max martin, pharrell and her rnb/trap friends) results in a complex body of work where the songs bounce off of each other. For me, the latter group did a much better work on TUN, or alternatively they got overshadowed by max’s legendary pop melodies and pharrell’s super experimental and unique style this round - but that as it may, they still delivered fan classics. Other than TLIC, every song can be rated as a 10 (well, maybe that name drop song too). The singles are perfection, one by one, but what made me fall over heels for ariana’s best album is the dreamy REM, the impeccable get well soon, and the 4 super fan girls: blazed (if u don’t like it don’t even talk to me), sweetener, successful and borderline. But don’t take it for me, just listen. If u get it, u get it. If you don’t… my everything is right there smh.

    Her most healing era it was. Songs like no tears left to cry, everytime, goodnight n go, are masterpieces. My overall score is a 9, because songs like blazed, borderline or pete davidson are not as strong contenders as the other songs on the album imo. Overall I love this album, it will always have a special place in my heart

This is a vast improvement from her 2016 Dangerous Woman album, which was the worst album of her career. Ariana Grande cemented herself as the best artist since Mariah Carey with this album, proving herself to be bigger than all her former peers (MileyThis album is absolutely a masterpiece and nobody can say otherwise. Every song, every music video, every live performance is perfection. This is a vast improvement from her 2016 Dangerous Woman album, which was the worst album of her career.     Ariana’s 4th album is a completely different way of past work, dangerous woman, a more soft and r&b vibe is the description of sweetener. The vocals are incredible nice in this record, however sometimes it gets a little boring and repetitive, but just in a few tracks, talks in a whole work, sweetener is a great album.

    Definetely her best album! At first, i liked it, but not very much because it was a different sound to what i was used to, but as i kept listening, i kept appreciating more... and the whole aesthetic of sweetener is so beautiful. Ariana is amazing.

    We can definetly say that this is her most experimental album, it is also her first album that is actually personal. There are 3 skips but the other songs are amazing! My favorites are R.E.M, God Is A Woman, Breathin, Better off, Goodnight N Go and Get Well Soon.

    “Sweetener” is not just the best Ariana’s album and era but also one of the best albums of all time. Every song is catchy and a grower. The music videos are spectacular. The intro is magical and the interlude feels like a dream. Songs like “the light is coming”, “blazed” and “borderline” are hated without a reason.. Pharrell is a genius when it comes to producing music and so Ariana when“Sweetener” is not just the best Ariana’s album and era but also one of the best albums of all time. Every song is catchy and a grower. The music videos are spectacular. The intro is magical and the interlude feels like a dream. Songs like “the light is coming”, “blazed” and “borderline” are hated without a reason.. Pharrell is a genius when it comes to producing music and so Ariana when it comes for vocals and lyrics. They worked together and gave the music industry a forever masterpiece.
    All the songs are dreamy, some are very happy and others are very sad after knowing the true meaning.

    Grande’s new sound, the Williams-produced Not-Bangers, only make up half of the album. These standout tracks are interspersed between standard pop tracks. ... That’s not to say that the Bangers on Sweetener are bad--it’s more that they belong in previous era of Grande and they spoil the flow between songs. Sweetener may not be the dawning of a new age for Ariana but it could be a step towards somewhere weird and wonderful.

    Ms. Grande backs up her statements with song-and-dance mastery. ... She’s her own choir, support group and posse. While a few guest vocalists (Mr. Williams, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott) provide a little grit for contrast, Ms. Grande sails above any fray, past or present. Her aplomb is her triumph.
