    Album of the year. Brilliant progression from their first album. Sublime production and balance of soft folky vibes to guitar rock, The songs varied and diverse, sophisticated whilst catchy...lots to layers to get lost in. In a world full of lifeless synth bands its hard to impress with a great band music. They've nailed it

    A triumph following Dark Eyes. Half Moon Run has managed to replicate their intensity, while providing a slightly different tone. Essentially, it's different enough from Dark Eyes to be interesting, yet similar enough to retain the attention of fans of Dark Eyes.

    Album of the year for me.

    Those guys are unreal, can't believe they're not already superstars.

    Shades of Radiohead, Dylan, Fleet Foxes... A must for alt-rock/ folk fans out there.

    sempre tenho preferências em outros gêneros, mas esse realmente me impressionou. é incrível como esse álbum consegue te dar uma sensação diferente, um gosto diferente.

    This is an incredible album. So many excellent songs...The critics are very wrong about this album. This band has matured since last album and are heading in the right direction.

    As a whole, Sun Leads Me On is a far more confident-sounding animal than 2012's Dark Eyes, with the band coming off less like a hastily assembled, albeit talented, group of strangers, and more like a road-tested, yet well-rested army of four.

    When they get past their demons, Half Moon Run sit somewhere between accomplished musicians and potential game-changers. Too often they settle into a default mode, rarely hitting the melodic highs of ‘It Works Itself Out’ or the enraged bruiser ‘Consider Yourself’.

    With Sun Leads Me On, Half Moon Run are attempting to shake the title of "that band with that song" and show off how far they have come, and for the most part, it works.
