    este es un álbum lleno de pop-funk, amo todo lo que este álbum te da y esas emociones de hacer lo que se te antoje en la vida y odiar a tu ex toxico, muchas personas llaman este álbum básico pero deberían ver que esto es una arte de pop/funk que fue ignorada, no me gusta la idea que boom clap haya sido el track destacable y no tracks como breaking up, famous, break the rules, london queen,este es un álbum lleno de pop-funk, amo todo lo que este álbum te da y esas emociones de hacer lo que se te antoje en la vida y odiar a tu ex toxico, muchas personas llaman este álbum básico pero deberían ver que esto es una arte de pop/funk que fue ignorada, no me gusta la idea que boom clap haya sido el track destacable y no tracks como breaking up, famous, break the rules, london queen, doing it, so over you, die tonight, yo considero estos tracks como obras de arte, amo boom clap pero tengo que decir que ahí mejores canciones que aquella y en mi opinión este álbum merece mas que un simple hit por una canción que sinceramente no es la mejor de este álbum, les recomiendo mil este álbum y no se arrepentirán, esto para los fans del pop girly funk y esas vibes, tmb para aquellos que odian a su ex y están viviendo un momento de su vida donde se sienten inalcanzables… Expand

    A brilliant album that transports us to the 80s. Charli succeeds "True Romance" in a mature way, so that it may not please many for its commercial appeal, but it is therefore an excellent pop music album. Charli XCX doesn't want to follow standards, she just wants to break the rules.

    Charli XCX’s sophomore album Sucker is a fine balance between Ozzy Osbourne biting the head off a bat and Britney Spears blowing up a piece of bubble gum.

    Sucker is an unrelenting all-girls party that is made for the consumer market at large but without its vapidity.     Sucker is an unrelenting all-girls party that is made for the consumer market at large but without its vapidity. With infectious songs, grunge influences and a f*ck you attitude, the album impresses as a strong pop release that grows on you with each listen. Every song is incredibly catchy and wildly fun. It’s the type of all-girls party that every guy secretly wishes he could get an invite to. With that said, Sucker also contains an open and wounded heart that doesn’t shy away from its feelings. It’s an overall amazing pop album that doesn’t hold back its punches.

    At the end of the day, Sucker is a complete look at how far Charli XCX has come in such a short amount of time. It’s sex, drugs and rock n roll inspired with no ballads or stripped down tracks to showcase her vocal and lyrical ability ultimately making it a party affair. It’s a pop album filled with heart, **** confidence, and exposure. Sucker is a motivated catalyst that captures the pure essence of what it’s like to be a 22 year old to have such profound and commercial success in a pop world that’s traditionally diluted and uninspired.

    Comecei a ouvir Charli por Sucker e não me arrependo nem um pouco. Sou suspeita a falar mas acho esse o melhor album dela até agora. O pop feito em Sucker é cativante, dançante e quiçá nostálgico pra galera que curte músicas dos anos 80 e 90.

    New artist- Charli XCX started promoting album with "Boom Clap" and Girl Power North America Tour. Next singles "break the rules" and "breaking up" surprised me because they were very "rebel" and energetic.
    When I was on Katy Perry's tour Charli supported her. This way I met other songs form the album.
    Her show was great so I decided to buy this album next day. This record wasn't    New artist- Charli XCX started promoting album with "Boom Clap" and Girl Power North America Tour. Next singles "break the rules" and "breaking up" surprised me because they were very "rebel" and energetic.

    Her show was great so I decided to buy this album next day. This record wasn't typical pop music. It had influences form punk and house. Every lyrics has simple lyrics ,but with strong feeling , especially rebel.
    Pop punk melodies give appeals to her voice.
    My only unfavorable song: "Need Ur Love"
    My favorite tracks: "Sucker" , "Break The Rules" , "London Queen" , "Doing It" , "Body Of My Own" , "Famous" and "Die Tonight".
    Summing I would give 9 points but I'm giving 10 because of the urge for experiments with the music.    … Expand

    This album was a landmark in the pop industry in 2014, bringing something more adolescent, free and rebellious of a singer that even his predecessor was more conservative and indie.
    Solid, fun, unique. These three words describe the colorful pop Sucker.

    This album solidifies Charli's reputation as an artist who truly understands how to make excellent pop music. Sucker is smart, emotional, raw and fun. XCX has crafted what is easily the best pop album of 2014.

    I really like this album, but I prefer True Romance. The pop-punk sounds here are beautiful but in some songs it's annoying :| Lyrics are nice in some songs, for ex. Need Ur Luv and terrible in others, for ex. Doing It. My personal opinion.

    Her True Romance - Sucker transformation is something amazing, it's like The Family Jewels - Electra Heart of Marina and the Diamonds, but this transformation is way better, but we're here for hear the album that goes with this transformation and its AWESOME! Both the lyrics and the beats are really catchy. The only song that I didn't like so much was "Red Balloon" but hey, it's stillHer True Romance - Sucker transformation is something amazing, it's like The Family Jewels - Electra Heart of Marina and the Diamonds, but this transformation is way better, but we're here for hear the album that goes with this transformation and its AWESOME!     Sucker is definitely a departure from True Romance, but Charli's sassy attitude is still written all over it. This is a fast-paced, high energy album that commands attention right from the start and keeps you tapping your toes for the next 40 minutes. The most impressive thing to me is Charli's songwriting skills. She is seriously a force to be reckoned with, especially with songs likeSucker is definitely a departure from True Romance, but Charli's sassy attitude is still written all over it. This is a fast-paced, high energy album that commands attention right from the start and keeps you tapping your toes for the next 40 minutes. The most impressive thing to me is Charli's songwriting skills. She is seriously a force to be reckoned with, especially with songs like Boom Clap, Doing It, and Caught in the Middle, but there are a lot of great moments to be found throughout this album. Some of the songs would probably be classified as punk pop, which usually I'm not very fond of, but in the context of this album it fits quite well.     This radically drastic, explosive album shows some pun-ky and upbeat sounds mixed with average mainstream/pop rhythm that surely has never sounded shinier and pinky louder. With her unique atmospheric form of write Charli XCX express herself as an artist and a woman that can give the battle and celebrate her life like is no tomorrow. Highlights: Famous, Boom Clap and Need Ur Luv.

    Uma pessoa que sabe fazer álbuns bons é a Charli viu? o álbum está maravilhoso, batidas bem pop porém que não enjoam e pop chiclete no ponto certo, indo em um lado totalmente oposto ao antecessor que era mais "tumblr" ou "hipster". Charli se joga nesse mundo mais "adolescente". Porém faixas como London Queen tiram tum pouco do brilho do álbum, que na minha opinião, a pior do álbum, mas nãoUma pessoa que sabe fazer álbuns bons é a Charli viu? o álbum está maravilhoso, batidas bem pop porém que não enjoam e pop chiclete no ponto certo, indo em um lado totalmente oposto ao antecessor que era mais "tumblr" ou "hipster".     Her smart songwriting is not as mainstream and straightforward as Taylor Swift's ability to write hits. But it's still fresh in tracks like "Boom Clap", "Breaking up", "London Queen" and "Famous", combining electric guitars, raw synths, drum machines and streetwise wit in the lyrics. Now I am begining to think that it's not fresh or smart, it's just British!     Sucker é um album bem divertido e barulhento, eu adorei o conceito do album e de como XCX mergulhou nele. Sucker lembra muito anos 80. é divertidissimo.

    I love this album, is pure punk pop, charli has an attitute **** sounds so aggressive and crazy, totally different from the true romance that has an electronic footprint and cyberpunk but that does not make the least good sucker, this album is perfect.

    When I pre-ordered this album, I actually wasn't expecting much but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. If you're a dancer or like music when exercising, this album is for you.

    As a die-hard Charli fan, I seriously don't understand why older fans are not into this album. This is 100% Charli. The lyrics are not full of deep meaning, but she obviously didn't have the pretension to go there. This is an album to have fun and dance like there's no tomorrow. All of the songs are perfectly crafted to a crazy bubblegum party. The title track "Sucker" embodies all theAs a die-hard Charli fan, I seriously don't understand why older fans are not into this album. This is 100% Charli. The lyrics are not full of deep meaning, but she obviously didn't have the pretension to go there. This is an album to have fun and dance like there's no tomorrow. All of the songs are perfectly crafted to a crazy bubblegum party. The title track "Sucker" embodies all the ideas behind this amazing piece. It screams freedom and empowerment. Even the ballad ones, "Boom Clap" and "Caught In The Middle", are not written like most pop songs that are on the radio. She was truly comitted to not catching up with preconceived ideas and formulas to achieve success, which is awesome, since most indie artists go that way to become mainstream. In sum, as a very young girl exploring different music scenes, Charli sure hit the spot with her sophomore album and is going to keep us wondering what her next project will sound like.… Expand

    Bueno me encantó este álbum , tiene un estilo Pop Punk muy bueno :3 Charli sin dudas tiene talento ella es genial y este disco es muy bueno lo recomiendo , las mejores canciones son : ''Break The Rules'' , ''Body Of My Own'' , ''Gold Coins'' y ''Need Ur Luv'' , tambien ''Boom Clap'' y ''Caught In The Middle''
