The growth when it comes to lyricism is just WOW. Perfectly produced by Jack Antonoff and in the future, i bet the skeptical critics in the future will consider this one a ahead of its time masterpiece!

People didn't like Melodrama at first, and today it's considered a pop classic. I'm sure this will go down in the books as a memorable album in a year or two. Every summer from now on will have Solar Power as it's soundtrack. It's beautiful and heartfelt.

Lorde demuestra, una vez más, ser la mejor escritora de su generación. Un disco que abraza la tranquilidad y te permite sentir nostalgia por haber dejado atrás la vida dramática de la adolescencia.

Beautiful instrumentation and lyrics. This new album is so experimental in Lorde’s career but, also fascinating. The production is so exquisite and quite cohesive. If you’re expecting for a «Melodrama 2.0», you won’t find it but, you’ll get some vibes.

Lorde have grown as a happy person and it shows. Her ecstatic state it's contagious and it's full of new rhythms for her that shows that she will never give us the same music twice

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Lorde inicia seu álbum da melhor maneira possível, uma pena o álbum cair tanto na mesmice no final, não chega a ser um álbum ruim, mas perto do Melodrama e muito inferior! Expand

Critics should realize that Lorde is not that angsty teen from Pure Heroine and Melodrama no more but a carefree, happy adult now in Solar Power.

The lyrics are amazing as usual, there's something about Lorde that only her can capture the feelings and put it on words. She was absolutely right when she said that this album was a little bit about New Zealand, when I listen to it I feel myself in a New Zealand Beach in the summer with my friends. Another album of her that's so well producted. Tks Lorde and Jack Antonoff for the AMAZING job

To the ones who were expecting a melodrama 2.0 this album is not for you and probably none of her future albuns will be, stop being a dumb a**. I feel like every good artist should have the ability to change and explore in music and more important, do it successfully. Lorde did it again, she reinvented herself and presented her music in a completely different way but still feels like her.To the ones who were expecting a melodrama 2.0 this album is not for you and probably none of her future albuns will be, stop being a dumb a**. Lorde did it again, she reinvented herself and presented her music in a completely different way but still feels like her. It is the statement that she's not a broken teenager anymore, like everything in life this phases passes and we perceive the world in a different form. Anyways, it is the perfect album to listen in the beach (as it should) and she did a great work, fallen fruit, the man with the axe and oceanic feeling was my favorites. Expand

Solar Power is Lorde's strongest project. From the nature-inspired production, full of guitars and horns and cicadas, to the melancholic vintage-vibe melodies, this album is the perfect companion for the perfect summers. She never disappoints, truly a masterpiece.

Great Album!!! It’s a masterpiece, I don’t know people saying that it’s a bad album, if we see the lyrics we could find Lordes feelings, it’s a relax, acid and cannabis album jajaja. All these connections Lorde is trying to make: her strange pastiche imagination of the ’70s, that random spoken word interlude by Robyn about climate change, and the themes of “sun healing,” never fully reach each other. Often, they come off as disingenuous and out of touch more than they read as brilliant, or comical. Whether the album is one big prank, or just one majorly failed experiment, the gist of having the “privilege to ignore” is lost in translation. All you are left with is just a handful of pretty alright songs.

If you're riding and vibing with Lorde, this bright shapelessness is superb mood music. If you're not riding her wave, Solar Power can seem elusive, even cloying, as it circles and sways with a smile.

This might not be the album that everyone wanted from Lorde, but it’s a solid, dreamy effort that deserves exploration. There’s plenty here worthy of attention if you can focus for long enough.
