Aug 1, 2023Not as good as melodrama but it’s still good. She conveys many issues such as climate change and fame and it’s just too good
-
Mar 23, 2023Unpopular Opinion: Solar Power is far from bad, but we're so used to gloom and melancholy, gloom and blue that it was hardly going to be an appreciated album.
8/10 -
Mar 14, 2023Definitivamente es el mejor álbum de lorde, el álbum es maravilloso de inicio a fin, ‘Mood ring’, ‘California’ y ‘the path’ son obras maestras

Mar 1, 2023Lorde perfects every sound she tries. Sonically, a wonderful sun-soaked, relaxing album. Lyrically, almost haunting. With an overall theme of 'relationships' (both personal, with the environment and herself), there's such a powerful and beautiful message. Solar Power is an album I haven't stopped listening to, and one I'm sure I'll continue to listen to throughout my adulthood.

Feb 4, 2023Solar Power is a display of evolution of Lorde, and it is a beautiful one. The expectations were extremely high, as Melodrama was a masterpiece and Lorde disappointed the people awaiting for a similar album. However, when looking at SP not in terms of sophomore album's continuation, it shows its high quality.

Oct 5, 2022Another great cohesive album from the amazing Lorde but this one is more plain than the previous ones so it feels disappointing. It's still great but looks worse when you compare it to the previous ones.

Aug 22, 2022Uma suavidade tão gostosa de se ouvir. Esse ano eu preciso ir no show da Lord!
-
Aug 21, 2022boring but kind of grew on me. good for a beach day i think. not her best work at all though
-
Aug 20, 2021lorde ended everyone. aoty. as a justin stan i can confirm she ended that racist with sm ease.
-
Aug 21, 2022It's not the best album of her, but it was really misunderstood and underrated.
-
Aug 21, 2022Such a beautiful album. If only people would stop being depressed... I definitely recommend it, it will change your lives
-
Jul 6, 2022this album has no structure, difficult to digest in my opinion but I rescue and do not deny that Lorde is a very good artist.

Jun 5, 2022It is sad that nowadays people are only focused on fast-made tik tok pop music. This album is a beautiful compilation of golden songs. Even though it is something different than what Lorde made us used to, it still keeps her essence. It deserves more recognition.
-
Jun 4, 2022it got a lot of hate, but personally i love it. it's a different vibe from the rest of her stuff and i just don't think we were ready for it last year.
-
May 20, 2022It's a grower honestly. When SP came out I was disappointed, but now I'm glad she released this one. No, I'm not rich like her so I can ignore life because I don't have to work or something... but c'mon, it's not like ya'll relate to your favorites artists like... the parties, rich ass life all that **** and now ya'll picking on Lorde now. It's great.

Apr 3, 2022Chato. Solar Power não brilha em nada. É decepcionante que depois de Melodrama a Lorde entregue algo tão sem graça.

Mar 22, 2022To me, Lorde is growing up after Melodrama which is perfect because that makes Solar Power a bridge to next albums. It's so nice to see that main pop artists try to make music in different way. This album was too different from her debut and sophomore albums but either way this is a realy good album.
-
Mar 2, 2022An album that takes time to process and an album that’ll get even better with time.
-
Aug 21, 2021A little bit sad. Not the sound of melodies or a concept of the album. It's just not the Lorde I fell in love with a long time ago....
-
Feb 15, 2022Lorde no falla. uno de los mejores albumes lanzados ese año. It's the only thing I'll say.

Aug 30, 2021All these connections Lorde is trying to make: her strange pastiche imagination of the ’70s, that random spoken word interlude by Robyn about climate change, and the themes of “sun healing,” never fully reach each other. Often, they come off as disingenuous and out of touch more than they read as brilliant, or comical. Whether the album is one big prank, or just one majorly failed experiment, the gist of having the “privilege to ignore” is lost in translation. All you are left with is just a handful of pretty alright songs.
-
Aug 26, 2021If you're riding and vibing with Lorde, this bright shapelessness is superb mood music. If you're not riding her wave, Solar Power can seem elusive, even cloying, as it circles and sways with a smile.

Aug 26, 2021This might not be the album that everyone wanted from Lorde, but it’s a solid, dreamy effort that deserves exploration. There’s plenty here worthy of attention if you can focus for long enough.
