    The album is so fresh and sweet, the sounds, the vocals and the lyrics make the perfect match. Katy says that with this album she wants us to get a big and shine smile, well, we all now have it.

    Un album mas aburrido que witness, al parecer los fanaticos aparte de sordos carecen de cerebro porque si apoyaran a otro artista tendrían el mismo apoyo pero bueno, hasta aquí dejo mi humilde calificación. PASANDO LA SMILE :)

    This album is honestly a piece of art. I can’t help but disagree with critics, as it seems so many are almost looking for something to complain about in each track. Smile is a journey from the beginning to the end, taking you from the harder parts of healing to the light at the end of the tunnel. Sonically, the album has a nice cohesion while still providing tracks that contrast in themes,This album is honestly a piece of art. There's no skip in this album and all the songs tell a story from the beginning to the end of the album. Every song is spiritual and a bop you can dance to every single song. The album is actually divided into four parts:

    THERAPY- Never really over, Cry about it later, Teary eyes
    RECOVERY- Daisies, Resilient, Not the end of the world
    HAPPINESS- Smile, Champagne problems, Tucked.
    TRUE LOVE- Harleys in Hawaii, Only love, What makes a woman

    All songs are mind blowing both lyrically and musically. My favourites are: Cry about it later, Not the end of the world, What makes a woman and Daisies. I recommend you to listen to this album once its just 35 minutes long you'll fall in love with it!    … Expand

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
