    Smile ,the album it’s so much complicated than just some cachy songs, the album tells a whole story about what is pain for katy , how she did it to overcome some difficult moments in her life and then she tells us now how she is and how smiling and happy stay .

    O álbum “Smile” traz uma sensação diferente, desde a primeira vez que se escuta é como se fosse automaticamente transportando a um lugar seguro que lhe traz felicidade, com bastante influências de Deep-House e grande homenagem às músicas dançantes, tem letras importantes, e considero ele um fechamento de capítulo na vida da artista, algumas letras inclusive trazem referências ao sucessoO álbum “Smile” traz uma sensação diferente, desde a primeira vez que se escuta é como se fosse automaticamente transportando a um lugar seguro que lhe traz felicidade, com bastante influências de Deep-House e grande homenagem às músicas dançantes, tem letras importantes, e considero ele um fechamento de capítulo na vida da artista, algumas letras inclusive trazem referências ao sucesso “Teenage Dream” e feito totalmente de forma despretensiosa para simplesmente fazer com que a pessoa que esta escutando sorria, é disso que estamos precisando agora. Não foi bem aceito pela crítica especializada (grande surpresa) por ser considerado despretensioso demais e “soar como algo já feito”, a questão que fica é: todo álbum Pop precisa ser realmente revolucionário? O que aconteceu com a ideia de simplesmente fazer música boa e não esperar nada mais do que isso?
    Não é preciso ser aclamado para ser grande e o que a Katy propõe aqui é esse olhar sobre sua carreira, fizeram ela fazer papel de palhaça em acreditar que ela precisava mudar para ser considerada artista de verdade e tudo o que ela conseguiu foi entrar em desarmonia consigo mesma.
    Chega ser um pecado alguém falar que esse disco é ruim, até porque muito artista entregou trabalho esse ano com a pegada retrô de pop chiclete, e de alguma forma somente a Katy é repetitiva e está promovendo algo em desacordo com a situação atual do mundo? Nós precisamos de músicas despretensiosas que simplesmente trazem alegria, estamos num momento complicado devido à pandemia e a Katy Perry conseguiu entregar um álbum coeso do incio ao fim, com letras poderosas que demonstram o quanto ela amadureceu como artista e o quanto está disposta a continuar seguindo fazendo música pra quem se interessa por seu trabalho e não julga seu trabalho pelo seu perfil, mas sim pelo seu talento, ela deixa claro que não liga para as críticas porque sabe que fazendo o que ama ela vai estar de acordo consigo mesma, e se flopar? Bem, talvez ela chore depois, mas essa noite ela vai mesmo é se divertir!    … Expand

    It is a very complete album with modern and experienced sounds along with Katy's vocals that have improved considerably, playing with the choruses and verses, which makes it even more interesting and that currently sounds quite good. Positioning itself as one of the best albums of the year

    Wish Resilient to have a better chorus.
    Tucked and Champagne Problem are amazing.
    Like Teary Eyes and Cry about it later.

    She said in her interviews that the new album would sonically sound similar to her past ones and there are times when it does. It reminds us of Old Katy but it also has hints of uniqueness and freshness like never before! The songs can all be singles. They are bops and disco hits that are well written and produced! It's very easy to criticize someone's work and be mean and spread negativity and get paid for it! Unlike you guys, Katy doesn't just warm the seats....She's a real performer and she delivered! Critics are calling the new album a "mortal sin" and that "people don't go to Katy for deep" and that's she's "playing it safe"... Well y'all trashed her bad when she actually reinvented herself with Witness and now that when she's sticking with what she does best, it's still not good enough? Smh The songs turned out the way they are cause they were intended that way. The artist has a different vision while writing songs, the situation they are in rn or have been through clearly reflect in the lyrics they write and not everyone is supposed to get that. Everyone gives a new turn, a new meaning to the lyrics which is okay but you can't disregard or talk trash about it not knowing what it actually stands for! The critics have always been mean towards Katy and that just shows how the music industry works! They choose a bunch of talentless mean idiots to spread hatred about every good thing or effort made by any artist. The only critique these crictics need to give criticism to is their lack of judgement and understanding cause that's trash af! Enough about these idiots!! I just wanna say, "Smile" is a **** bop and it deserves to be appreciated and streamed and nominated for awards and stuff. Please Stream the album cause Katy has worked really hard! I'm so proud of her and so proud to be a KatyCat....I hope and pray that she gets all the happiness and success in the world cause she's worthy of it!!

    This album is her best work yet. She knows exactly what to do to stay on trend with the latest music. Katy Perry knows exactly what she’s doing and every song is just as good as the last. there is one more song that she cowrote with Ryan Tedder but it is only target only addition but it can be found on YouTube.     The album really made me smile! Knowing that the songs became from the bottom of Katy's heart during her most dificult time is trully special. Some songs at the album are "dance trough the pain" and some songs are more like "get up and smile, gurl!".

My favourite tracks are: Never Really Over, Teary Eyes, Resilient, What Makes a Woman and High on Your Supply. The production is fantastic and the sound is versatile and also reminiscent of her past work, with some of the tracks reminding me of disco. The lyrics are soulful and tell a cohesive story that might resonate with yours. She finally detached herself from wanting to chart at all costs and has started focusing on her craft. A cantora entrega um pop dançante com rítmos e batidas juntamente de letras fortes, retomando à sua jornada após os ocorridos de 2017, a sonoridade é impecável, e mesmo que familiar, entrega um ótimo trabalho.

    This album is a very healing album, and I’m glad to see Katy in a much better place than she was before. Most don’t understand Katy’s intent was to simply make music for herself rather than others. I’m disappointed in the critics because this album is actually really good.     Minha faixa de maior destaque vai para "Not The End Of The World" que sem dúvidas, eu escolheria como próximo single para divulgação do álbum. A música é uma grande aposta para as pistas de danças, a PONTE é o maior destaque da música. Sem falar da letra, que é um maior deboche da Katy, em questão de críticas que ela recebe.

    Sinceramente? O SMILE é o melhor álbum lançado neste ano! Me sinto grato de tá ouvindo um álbum sincero e extremamente importante, para uma artista como Katy Perry.

    Un gran álbum! Katy demuestra su destresa vocal, incorpora cosas de sus discos anteriores y mantiene su esencia. Mis favoritas son Daisies y Resilient. Le agradezco por seguir haciendo musica y no sucumbir ante las criticas. Totalmente infantiles y irrazonables muchas criticas de los "profesionales".     I really liked the album, catchy lyrics, and the themes of each songs. Before the album released, I expect that there are songs that banger, and now I meet that expectations. So thanks Katy for continuing creating music.

    Très bon album pop. Avec 3 titres exclusifs phares pour moi : CAIL, NTEOTW et Tucked, qui entrent rapidement en tête. Et deux jolies chansons Résilient et What makes a Woman qui collent a la peau de Katy.

    It’s just a bop of an album. I know critics are being rough on her poppy delivery, but honestly what did we expect? She experimented on her Witness album and it didn’t take, so now she goes back to her pop dance style and we dismiss it as not adventurous enough? Please. Like critics will ever be really satisfied.

    ¡ESTO ES ASOMBROSO! El álbum te hará bailar, llorar, pero sobre todo resurgir como el AVE FENIX que eres. Motivante, entretenido y rescatable de las criticas negativas. Katy Perry esta de vuelta y nos encanta.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
