    A simply amazing comeback! This album is quintessentially catchy Katy Perry pop, the tracks are polished and have great arrangements. Lyrically it also does not disappoint. Tracks like "Not The End of The World" and "Only Love" bring exactly the message we all needed right now. It really brought Katy's smile back ( and mine too) for sure! Loved it!

    O álbum é perfeito dentro do que ele se propõe. Katy Perry se mostra madura, remodelada, resiliente e dona de si. Misturando sentimentos entre tristeza e alegria, o álbum nos arranca sorrisos e surpreende muitas vezes. Destaque para Tucked, que é como um passeio pela confeitaria da Katy Perry, uma musica açucarada com um ar retrô que me remete a Katy Perrydo TD e OOTB.

Tracks: What Makes a Woman, Only Love, Cry About It Later are showing her growth. As she said before, she doesn't care about charts anymore. She only cares about making music and continuing her legacy. Also as she said before she loves doing music and she won't quit making bops. Overall Smile is her best work, most mature work, most Katy work. Really showed the real side of Katy with 12 bops. And there are two extra tracks, one of them is an unreleased song called "Energy" and the other one is a Target-exclusive track "High On Your Supply". Honestly if she added those songs to album, the album would have been 11/10. She is not a "one hit wonder", she is a "wonder".… Expand

The lyrics aren't bad, and some of the songs are relatively catchy. A few tracks feel a little generic, like Not the End of the World, but some of the others, like Only Love, are some of the best of Katy'sKaty seems to get more and more underrated as her music improves. Harleys in Hawái es una de mis favoritas, al igual que sus álbumes anteriores este álbum tiene mucho contenido y sus letras llegan al corazón. Felicitaciones Katy por excelente trabajo.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
