    She made a great comeback. With this album she tells the journey of her rediscover of smiling. Instead the critics, she drops a very cohesive and truthful work. She deserves success in this new journey with the album and the baby.     Tutte le canzoni sono delle fantastiche Ballad e ti coinvolgono sin dal primo ascolto. Solo Resilient e What Makes a Woman non convincono più di tanto ma per il resto è un mix di felicità, incoraggiamento e amore assurdo!

    I dont trust how the critics work by giving this album low rates because I do believe that it served it's purpose and it is to make the people smile.     What a lot don't realize is that, this album might be her transitional period. Though, it is not as bubbly as her past albums, it shows growth and maturity while remaining fun, yet it serves a meaning and a purpose. What I am even more excited about is her next upcoming album.

Katy Perry is not there yet. It's not a bad thing. It means that we can expect more from her in her future projects. But with SMILE, it is evident that she's nearing that phase of growth in terms of her musical genuity. Smile displays a sense of transition from Candy girl to a more mature Katy Perry without compromising the danceability of the tracks such as the banger Not The End of the World, Tucked, and Champagne Problems.     Definitivamente entregou o melhor álbum do ano para quem gosta de música pop! O álbum termina quando poderia estar começando, todas as faixas trazem a verdadeira essência de Katy Perry, não que ela tenha deixado de lado no "Witness", mas temos no "Smile" muita verdade e coerência.
    Os pontos altos do álbum são "Teary Eyes", "Cry About it Later" e "Resilient".

O álbum termina quando poderia estar começando, todas as faixas trazem a verdadeira essência de Katy Perry, não que ela tenha deixado de lado no "Witness", mas temos no "Smile" muita verdade e coerência.
    Os pontos altos do álbum são "Teary Eyes", "Cry About it Later" e "Resilient".

    The album in itself is very fun and has a chill vibe. it’s cohesive and flows together perfectly. teary eyes and not the end of the world, personally, are my favourites. every song just pulls you in and keeps you invested beginning to end. no skips and no filler tracks. excellent work katy!

    She’s got back her smile and it shows, with a new perspective of her life and a brand new perspective, Katy is showing that she is no longer ‘lost in sea’ like in her previous album.

    Es un álbum donde vemos como Katy Perry nos sigue demostrando que nada está perdido, que las cosas positivas llegan que después de lo malo viene lo bueno. Y que si estás mal sigas adelante enérgicamente. Digno album de este año. Y sobretodo en pandemia.

    But it is really that bad as critics claimed? Various critics keep comparing SMILE with Lady Gaga’s CHROMATICA and Taylor Swift’s FOLKLORE and even Perry’s previous album! BUT CHROMATICA and FOLKLORE are barely on the same Genre with SMILE! They seem to rate this album in terms of Katy Perry personal behaviour instead of how the album actually is. But I don’t care, this    59 metascore....

    fxck off those critics, some of them say Katy cannont make any creative songs out of her comfort zone, and some of them say katy cannot make any hit songs like she used to. Guess what? you never reveiw Katy's album fairly, go and check Teenage Dream review what they crtising now is what they critised ten years ago, it's like pop in the mortal sin

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
