This definitely a big return to form for the band. Its hard to believe that even after all of these years they can still make an album this fun, catchy, and overall just great. While this might not go down as one of my favorites from the band, it is still really good and is an album i come back to very regularly.
Best Songs: Somewhere Now, Still Breathing, Forever Now, Band Bang, Too Dumb

What an album and a nice return to form from the boys. Better than the trilogy for sure.

I feel that in the 12 songs Green Day have put really their name in each one. A very good pop-punk album. I love it.

Green Day is back and better than ever before! Revolution Radio is the best Green Day album I have reviewed, and for good reasons. Firstly, the vocals are louder and easier to understand. Sometimes in earlier albums it was a bit challenging to hear Armstrong’s voice, so I was thankful for this album changing that. Speaking of lyrics, I appreciated Green Day reverting back to less language, as I prefer less colorful language if possible. In this way, Revolution Radio pleased me because there was only one objectionable song. I also liked the messages within the music a lot better than in previous Green Day works. The only song I wasn’t crazy about was Outlaws, which was just a little slower without boosting the message power. Except for that though, I was super happy with everything I heard in Revolution Radio, and would recommend it to all fans of Green Day and to lovers of rock music. Highlights: Somewhere Now, Bang Bang, Revolution Radio, Say Goodbye, Bouncing off the Wall, Still Breathing, Youngblood, Troubled Times, and Forever Now.

We can't lie about it guys, Green Day didn't have anything going for them since American Idiot. Than this album was released, and everything seemed fine again. Still Breathing is still on the radio, and Bang Bang and Revolution Radio are some of my favourite songs. A really solid album and totally recommended for ages 10 and up.

While not as groundbreaking as American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown, Revolution Radio is a collection of solid songs. Some low points include Ordinary World and Outlaws (which are still decent) but there are much more high points like Bang Bang, Say Goodbye, Forever Now and Troubled Times which all compare well with the rest of their discography.

Some people lost their ears definitely, cause this album sound incredibly good. Green Day change their previous direction and also personally went trough some changes and you can hear that on album. Musically it`s a great album, if you can hear. Lyrics.. absolutely fantastic. This is a Green Day of 2016.

This album is everything the trilogy should have been, fast, direct, good songs and a good sound, although the guitars have more distortion than I would like.
Good enough for fans, but certainly they should try to improve, especially in the lyrics. Billie Joe should understand that he is no longer an angry teenager.

Complimenter? Yes, but they still can not beat American Idiot.

An amazing album, but feels like a conjunct of diferent styles that green day have been playing before and the full album feels so aimless ,but anyway the lyrical content is brilliant the concept is fantastic and is their best album since American Idiot in my opinion.
    My personal favs:
    -Forever Now
    -Youngblood
    -Outlaws
    -Too Dumb To Die

Maybe the Best Album of the year, Green Day is back for Glory Days.

Revolution Radio Is Underrated for critics, when judging for miserable 72%

Come on a lot of album of unknown and bad artists have more than 80%,
And Green Day doens't have one album even American Idiot at 79%

A great comeback from Green Day after a disappointing Uno Dos Tres Albums.
It contained a great material about shooting frenzy in America and all the political actions there.
The only bad thing from this album for me is the audio quality that seems doesn't quite well mixed.
You can hear a click noise from almost of the song.

Green Day's Revolution Radio is finally taking back to it's roots what American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown should've done. Without a doubt, this will be the best green day album ever. Best songs on this album were Bang Bang, Revolution Radio and Still Breathing! Still Breathing is available on Rock Band 4 DLC. It was so hype.

Green Day It's synonymous of Talent and great good music.
    Revolution Radio Exceeds my expectations.

Of course is better than any in the trilogy Uno! Dos! Tre!, But i don't know if is the best since American Idiot (2004), Because i like too much 21st Century Breakdown (2009)

I personally think is the best album of GreenDay. Because this one is more rebel, Bang Bang is a good example and the way they express their feelings about society is just great like in the song Somewhere Now. Also we can see than they tried to do like a new American Idiot.

Green Day was the first punk band that i fell in love with when i was in high school and god you have no idea how much i wanted to be them.
After so many years, I was literally crying when this album was released. "Like a soldier coming home for the first time."

This isn't a grower. This is the first album since the new Radiohead where I've liked every song the first time I heard it. They will probably take this as an insult--but Green Day has made a really fantastic pop album. It's hooky as hell. I can't stop humming the songs.

UNO! DOS! TRE! was the wrong trilogy. The real trilogy is American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown and Revolution Radio. RevRad is strong from start to finish because of being so focused with its 12 tracks.

Green day found a way to stay relevant and they did it with some great craft. There is everything here - the 90s anger (Bang Bang), the Warning upbeat (Youngblood, Too Dumb To Die), American Idiot epicness (Forever Now), the reference to classic rock with the best ever tribute to The Who ever made (Somewhere Now), touchinng piece of nostalgia and power-pop (Outlaws), tough political songGreen day found a way to stay relevant and they did it with some great craft. The album is very honest, you can feel it in the lyrics - if Uno/Dos/Tre were sung from the perspective of a man who is going through his middle-age crisis and who is drinking a lot - Revolution Radio is a story of a reborn man. Made by a reborn group. Expand

Aside from Billie Joe’s willingness to open up on more troubling personal issues, of which he only hints, the majority of Revolution Radio is all sheen and no spark.

The engrossing full-album reprise Forever Now gives an insight into frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s booze and pills-induced 2012 meltdown, but otherwise Revolution Radio is more melodic air-punching about guns, gas and the American nightmare. File under: Ain’t Broke.
