Not his best work but a lot of people still can't understand most of his lyrics in this record. Being truly honest, some songs aren't good, like "Need Me", but some others are just overhated for no reason.

Not my favorite, I have to admit. But still a banger. Still in love with Castle, Arose, Tragic Endings and Framed.

Wow. Just wow. Words cannot describe how fantastic of a musician Marshall Mathers has been throughout his entire career. He is without a doubt the most consistent musical act to ever walk the planet, as this the 9th 10/10 that he has released throughout his career. How he has managed to stay relevant for as long as he has, while not sacrificing any lyrical or sonic talent is truly incredible. As stated previously, he sacrifices no lyrical content with this release, as shown with such lines as "That booty is heavy duty, like diarrhea". Truly mesmerizing. But most of all, with this release, I'm glad to see that Marshall hasn't fallen into the abyss of the mumble (c)rap industry, along with the only real rappers out right now, like NF, Tom McDonald, Hopsin and Logic. Most rappers these days focus on the topics of drugs, sex, violence, and misogyny, while good Christian rappers like NF and Tom "keep it real", NF writing more motivational and uplifting music, and Tom "spitting facts" during all of his tracks. All in all, this was a great project, shining through the absolute **** surrounding it known as "modern-day hiphop" Expand

Is this Eminem’s worst album? Yes.
Does that mean it’s a bad album? No.
Lyrically, Eminem is so far above any other artist out there. This is an engaging album, full of emotion and new things to say from Em. There are some suspect production choices, and the songs are so varied in content/style that you almost certainly won’t like every song. Still, this project is stronger than most

If anything, this album is proof that when people jump aboard the hate train because it’s the “cool” thing to do, the evidence doesn’t matter. Unless you have put your blinders on and have committed to hating everything Eminem puts out ever again, you will recognize this for the solid album it is.

I dont think this album is perfect, but it's definitely not as bad as many people have made it out to be. The only real song on here i find uninteresting is Untouchable mostly due to Em's delivery, other than that, every other song is perfectly fine. Sure, they aren't his best songs, but they're still good songs.

definitely not eminem’s best work but still a pretty decent album and a lot of rappers wouldn’t be able to do anything like this sooo. walk on water and arose are my top songs from this album

It does sound as if he actually wanted to start a rap-rock band, but goddamn, Rick Rubin why didn't you stick to Linkin Park? The rest is just typical eminem, overhating him is useless lmao

Overall good album that stumbles along the way. Castle and Arose are some of the best Eminem songs ever. River is very catchy and the Ed Sheeran feature makes the song and walk on water is great as well. I will always have a soft spot for it being my first album I downloaded on Apple Music.

This album is underrated and overhated. Yes, there are couple bad songs in this album, like Chloraseptic's very sloppy flow or Believe's average lyrics, the album overall is quite solid. The best songs on this album would have to be Walk On Water, Castle, and Arose

His least great project to date. WTF WAS HE DOING ON THIS? MAKING POP SONGS?? The lyrics were there, though not as strong as before. The subject matter was there, though not rapped about as well as it should have been. I honestly hate this album but it's not trash. It's better than a lot of 2017 releases (not in the best album conversation tho). I'll give it a 10 just to help get theHis least great project to date. WTF WAS HE DOING ON THIS? MAKING POP SONGS?? Highly underrated Eminem album, overhated... people say all songs suck... yet i think songs like Arose, Castle, Chloraseptic are awesome... especially the a capella on Chloraseptic. Overall a good album, not the greatest he has ever done, but a good album. Expand

I don’t give a **** what people say, this album is fire. This is the woke Eminem, no matter what he does people are gonna criticize him. You should listen to the lyrics and enjoy the album, there are a lot of good songs on it. Eminem never disappoints.

This is actually a good album. Some people expect Eminem to be X, other people expect him to be Y, and other people expect him to be Z, and they always have an excuse to criticize him and not let him be the undoubtedly greatest again. The truth is that he's the greatest, either if you want to accept it or not.

At least a third of the tracks are songs I could do without. The other two-thirds show that whether you love or hate the modern day Marshall Mathers, he's still as relevant as he ever was.
