    For the first album, I found mature and the face of people who like fun and tasty music to be heard. All songs on this album make me think, cry and want to hear them again and again. We should not judge them because they are newcomers or not a fan of them. It was a hard and beautiful work! O grupo ainda carece de personalidade e muitas vezes no deixa com a sensação de estarmos ouvindo Jason Derülo e LMFAO, mas ainda assim as influências de Mariah Carey (voz) e Beyoncé (dança) estão por toda parte.     I support 5H since TXF, and i love this girls very much. I have to say that i was a little bit afraid of this album, of getting disappointed with them, but it was exactly the opposite. I am freaking in love with this album and a couldn't be more proud of the girls. I love the lyrics, the vocals, and everything about Reflection and a just can't stop repeating We Know, Top Down, ReflectionI support 5H since TXF, and i love this girls very much.     This album is not only pleasing to listen to, it carries an amazing message of self-worth and confidence. These girls know what they're doing and deserve the success that is going to come their way after this solid debut. The album is diverse with songs ranging from soothing R&B, to heart pounding pop and bass-dropping club anthems. I would recommend this album to anyone who enjoys goodThis album is not only pleasing to listen to, it carries an amazing message of self-worth and confidence.     The perfect combination of throwback RnB, 80's Pop and Hip-Hop. Despite the eclecticism, it remains cohesive and a thoroughly enjoyable listen.
    The overarching message of the album is for the listener to take pride in who they are and to work towards their goals. A consistent theme throughout is of course, feminism. Real, raw, passionate, but not too in-your-face feminism. It does not    The perfect combination of throwback RnB, 80's Pop and Hip-Hop. Despite the eclecticism, it remains cohesive and a thoroughly enjoyable listen.
    The overarching message of the album is for the listener to take pride in who they are and to work towards their goals. A consistent theme throughout is of course, feminism. Real, raw, passionate, but not too in-your-face feminism. It does not come across as disingenuous; in fact, the album makes clear that when it comes to feminism, the ladies of Fifth Harmony "may talk a lot of stuff", but "guaranteed, [they] can back it up."
    Lyrics and message aside, some of the beats and melodies on 'Reflection' are, for want of a better word, flames - mos notably lead single 'BO$$', as well as 'Top Down', 'This Is How We Roll' and of course, the Mariah Carey tribute, Tyga penned, 'Like Mariah'.
    Special mention goes to producer DJ Flict, who produced (arguably) three of the strongest tracks on the album. First is 'Brave, Honest, Beautiful' opens with a siren and a Destiny's Child-esque role call ("Lauren, they ain't ready for this" etc.) before launching into the well-placed-name-dropping chorus. Next up from Flict is 'Going Nowhere', by far a lyrical stand-out of the album. Going Nowhere talks of a relationship where one partner wants out, while the other expresses how they are making a mistake in leaving and they will be "sorry if [they] say goodbye, boy I still want you, but I don't need you, you should be happy I'm still here for you, don't have to be, you must be blind if you can't see." If I could quote more, I would. Honourable mention goes to the infectious bass-drop of the chorus. The third and final track in Flict's trio is 'Suga Mama', which is already seeing comparisons to Destiny's Child's 'Bills, Bills, Bills' and TLC's 'No Scrubs'. The slow-down pre-chorus from Miss Jauregui perfectly leads into the spitfire, upbeat chorus.
    Overall, for a debut album, 'Reflection' is above and beyond. The two-year wait and many, many push-backs are easily forgiven even after Track #1. 10/10.    … Expand

    I really love this album, it's all about being confident with yourself, these girls are really talented and literally can sing, and I think that there is a song for everyone in this album. I bought it, and still don't regret it

    This album is amazing, I can't wait to listen more of these girls. Every song is so good, i couldn't be prouder. the album has pop and r&b, that is what makes it so special.

    Most of the songs are pretty good which is more than what I expected to find from a new group. Their vocal abilities have blown me away which is impressive since most modern music acts lack in the the sonic realm of music.     "Reflection" is rather demeaning to women in general. Nothing to make me feel that they're huge on women's rights, which I hear they're feminist. They don't have any writing credits on this album which makes me wonder if it's really personal...

    Reflection is a good album. His mixture of Pop with R&B cannot be an innovator, however sound pleasantly to the ears and it emphasizes the vocal talent of each one of the integrants of the quintet.

É basicamente impossível pular qualquer faixa do mesmo, pois toda sua tracklist é recheada de canções totalmente bem produzidas e cada faixa parece se completar perfeitamente ao passar de cada canção.

    Reflection, the debut by girl group Fifth Harmony, is a half-decent album. It's miles better than several R&B acts out there. The melodies are the highlight of the album. "Worth It" is miles better than a lot of the songs on pop radio today. All in all, I see a bright future for these girls.

    I couldn't be prouder of these girls! I've been a fan of them since the X Factor and I've loved seeing them grow as musicians as well as people. For being their first album they have definitely delivered and the 2 (almost 3) year wait was well worth it.

Só tem a voz chata dessa Camila em evidência, as músicas são bem chatas e o cd é totalmente sem identidade, deram pra elas o que quiseram que elas cantassem, afinal, nem Bo$$ que é uma música de empoderamento feminino foi escrita por elas. Não dá pra saber se queriam ser pop, EDM, urban ou sei lá que gênero mais, é uma bagunça. Zero envolvimento em produção/composição.. vieram de umLixo. "Reflection" is characterized with a bad production and stupid lyrics, things we can see clearly in songs like "Worth It", "We Know" e "Suga Mama".

    I expected more from them, they have power to do it. But, we can't deny the fact that Little Mix is the best girlband of the present.    … Expand

    This album does not transmit anything, it is an album made pros charts without any quality. Only a few songs as Sledgehammer (that can be said as the good one) that are saved ... honestly I expected more, actually I was not surprised at all this lack of quality ...

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This album is soo s**ty! They have ZERO personality (zero is also the number of songs that they wrote —5 girls, none of them can write songs?— and my score)! The lead singer, Camila, is the worst of them.
    Top Down sounds like 'Fancy' by Iggy Azalea ft. Charli XCX but is not that good. Bo$$ is horrible. Worth It is also annoying and horrible — it sounds just like 'Wiggle' but less meaningful (Wiggle is horrible tho). 'This Is How We Roll' sounds just like 'Scream & Shout', but it's worse (I throught it wasn't possible, but... Congratulations! They did it!). Like Mariah is just a disaster. Really, if I was Mariah Carey I would cry. The sample is so misused.
    Most of the songs sounds like a poor version of other songs.
    They took a long time to release a album, they could do so much better.

    I listened to this album this morning and all I have to say how horrible it is, my ear is bleeding now. If you have never heard a horrible and the instrumental album garbage, I recommend this.

    It is remarkable the fact that this album is a great shame the old girl groups because it is remarkably manufactured and made to be a "hit". The music, in general, are almost imperceptible to distinguish what if you do not stay alert the letter. There are only two relatively good songs: Reflection and Sledgehammer. The rest is pure noise.

    simplesmente péssimo, um álbum demorar 2 anos para ficar pronto e sair com uma qualidade sonora tão péssima assim e uma piada, 0 composições feitas pelas integrantes, 0 produções. Um álbum feito especificamente pra vender, pena que não obteve êxito porque as vendas estão menor que a qualidade do mesmo. Vocais fracos onde o principal vocal em praticamente todas as musicas são da piorsimplesmente péssimo, um álbum demorar 2 anos para ficar pronto e sair com uma qualidade sonora tão péssima assim e uma piada, 0 composições feitas pelas integrantes, 0 produções. Um álbum feito especificamente pra vender, pena que não obteve êxito porque as vendas estão menor que a qualidade do mesmo. Vocais fracos onde o principal vocal em praticamente todas as musicas são da pior vocalista, que piada. As musicas que são possíveis de se ouvir são as compostas pela Meghan de resto, uma musica que fala de feminismo sendo que ao menos as ''vocalistas feministas'' compuseram, outra uma versão de talk dirty que conseguiu ser pior que a original e a outra uma versão piorada de scream e shout, pra um grupo vindo de um programa de talento esse e um álbum que nem deveria ter saído da gravadora porque talento mesmo não vi nenhum no álbum.… Expand

The album was not a good arrangement of the tracks, there were moments that impressed me by the sudden change of sounds. I think the best are "Everlasting Love" (which somewhat resembles the cd Ariana Grande, "Yours Truly"), "We Know" and"Reflection" is not quite such a magnificent thing as was the "Better Together", we had to accept this evolution, but is still a good album for a debut.     I'm in love with Fifth Harmony! They're incredible and so talented. But as an Harmonizer, I have to be honest. This album isn't the best. A lot of the songs are just "Camilla & Back Up Singers". This isn't their fault, but the producers'. The album isn't really original. A lot of samples and rip offs.     Solid debut album. Lyrics and production may not be as great as their sophomore album but the album does have good songs. My absolute favourites are "Going Nowhere", "Reflection", "Suga Mama" and "We Know".
    This album also spawned their world wide smash hit, "Worth It". Overall it's a very good debut. All the best to these girls.

    I started listening to this album late. And it totally caught me off guard. This is actually a really good pop/R&B album. I know the R&B production here isn't for everyone, but I really like it. There are also songs here that are just plain fun, and FH captures this really well. Another surprise for me was how well FH could actually sing. There are few duds, like the repulsive "This Is How We Roll", which has some of the most obnoxious verses I've ever heard. And there are points on this album where the pandering is real (Them Girls Be Like). But other than that, this is a very enjoyable album.

    Not only is it a tribute to the pop music of the last ten years but also a homejae to those women who made that music.

    In each song you can feel the touch of artists like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Jessie J, just to say a few. And that's what makes this album so good ... That many girls and even guys can easily feel identified with it.

This album is full of cool pop, electro and dance songs, but sadly there is not many deep songs, most of the songs is just to be happy and it is okay, but I think great album has to have great lyrics to. However, Cabello is the soul of the group, since her voice is unique, and Jauregui has also shown some potential.     Reflection will not be the album of the century but it will not leave you with a bad taste in your mouth either. And to be their debut album the girls did a great job.

    The album is a generic pop that on the third or fourth track gets tired and ears ask to stop listening. The cloying and repetitive are increasingly far from reaching the ideal peak and we do not have a finger of them in the songs seem robbery. I hope they evolve greatly to change that, I do not say disappointing the album but I would not listen every moment.

Although some of the lyrics are now fully outdated, being 2014-esque internet slang, the melodies and R&B flavor are what keeps this album in the top rankings in my collection. Despite the fact that some of the songs lack balance in the time attributed to each of the five young women, each member has a song or two in which they absolutely steal the spotlight. The album's portrayal of each girl's strengths and style is flawlessly executed and sets the group up for a future in limelight.
    Another beast in and of itself is the message that every song on this album carries for its audience. The girls start out their lead single with the line "Every day is pay day," leaving a heck of a first impression for the world to judge them by. The song's later shoutouts to powerful women of color like Michelle Obama and Oprah tell their listeners exactly who this girl group is and what causes they are about to stand for. "Them Girls Be Like" gorgeously displays the Fifth Harmony girls as beacons of the "teenage girl" stereotypes, satirically defending early 2010s girl culture by pointing out that if no harm is done, what's the point in criticizing young females about how they want to act?
    "Suga Mama" demands that the girl's partner get himself to an equal financial level so she won't have to provide out of necessity. "We Know" lets men know that yes, women can see right through your tactics and games, and no, we are not falling for your tricks and lies. "Brave Honest Beautiful" assures the listener that despite what the rest of the world might say, they are worth as much as some of the world's greatest superstars.
    "Reflection" is likely the group's best plot twist of all time, in the favor of women. The verses croon about the appearance and reputation of a second person, all "you"s seemingly addressing a boy that the singer is interested in. But as soon as the chorus hits, the group subverts ALL of the audience's learned preconceptions and gender expectations with a simple line: "Boy, I ain't talkin' bout you, I'm talkin in my own reflection." The message of the song transforms in mere seconds from flirtatious crooning to independent mastery of self-esteem. Given how strongly "Reflection" asserts its declaration of independence, it's no wonder it's the title track of the girls' debut album.
    One of Fifth Harmony's most lasting impacts as a girl group of the Internet era is their constant call for women empowerment. With the lessons in self-confidence, gender equality, and independence, thank GOODNESS this is an album targeted towards teenage girls. The image this group had built for themselves was rooted in strength, confidence, intelligence, independence, and just about every other positive quality they wanted their young audience to have.    … Expand

    It's the album of a girlband with the purest pop, but something very commercial. The album is filled with instrumentals and gum and pegative productions, but the distortion effect and lack of synchrony of them is what sins. It has nothing unique and variety in the pop world, tracks sound in good love songs becomes a standard pop beat, it's not good to hear.

    Álbum realmente muito bom, mas em algumas músicas quem cantava a maior parte era a Camila, o que não acho justo mesmo adorando ela. Mas no todo o álbum é muito bom e todas as músicas são maravilhosas.
