Taylor Swift has proved herself to be a renowned and talented songwriter as well as singer in this truly remarkable album. Every track tells a story, the production of each track is touched with a gentle Pop-feel to it, and the lyricism for the most part is hands-down phenomenal.

One word to describe this album: masterpiece. The lyrics are beautiful, heartbreaking and breathtaking. "All Too Well", "Begin Again" and "Sad Beautiful Tragic" are lyrical masterpieces. There is no doubt that Red is a masterpiece, however it will be necessary for you to have a long history of love to fully understand this album. And it is that although the central theme is the love tragedies sometimes it is important to adapt all that for a public in general however it is not completely annoying and you will surely enjoy it in one way or another.

Another record that proves that not only Ms. Swift is a legendary lyricist, but is also one that's able to reach different types of audience and speak for them in a way that Taylor Swift can only do. Red is an emotional roller coaster that brings you into it's dark, glamouring and sad world that leaves you feeling Red, which is Taylor's main goal.

This album is a masterpiece, lyrically and musically. Taylor Swift perfectly captures her country roots while mixing pop melodies and beats. This album was a great transition album from country to pop. I do not know how anyone could transition genres better than this.

Along with this album being perfect lyrically and musically, this album perfectly captures this moment in Taylor's life as she is growing and maturing into a young woman in her early 20s.

Amazing job on this album, Taylor.

An Extraordinary album by Taylor Swift, A Long album with more 1hr & 5 min, and nothing less than 16 songs and never feels tired even with most ballads songs.

Taylor Swift has shown with this album that she is a musical force that is here to stay. a very bored album, the theme in the songs is very recurrent. It's not an organic album. all the tracks sounds exactly the same, it has not a goal, nor a structure.

while Speak Now was urgent, sparkling and occasionally too hectic, Red is breezy, warm and satisfying
opening with the breathtaking Joshua Tree-redolent "State of Grace", Swift takes no time to conjure her unique knack of blending genres with her sharp lyricism
her most refined genres (country pop and folk pop) are presented most keenly in tracks such as "Treacherous," "All Too Well,"

perhaps the biggest standout on this record (other than "State of Grace," of course) is the country-infused power pop stomper "Holy Ground," which provides the listener with some of Swift's best lyrics and most soaring harmonies thus far, all over pounding beats
this record is filled with rockier beats without jeopardizing Swift's clever pop sensibilities, and is tied with Speak Now as the best album of her career

Like all Taylor Swift albums, they are made to perfection with such finesse. This album remains Swift's most subtle yet bold album which projected her into worldwide stardom. The album is filled with tracks that have now become Swift's signature songs.

Hearing Taylor Swift sing makes you remember these things, how you can wax poetic one day about the efficacy of love to change lives permanently for the better, and the next rail about how love leads only to pain and heartache.
  2. I like the feisty ones, as I generally do. But "Begin Again" and especially "Stay Stay Stay" stay happy and hit just as hard.

More varied in its offerings, but also more disjointed than her previous work, Red sounds like a transitional album for Swift.
