    Horrible. Personally I only enjoyed Kid Cudi, a lot of the features don't make sense on the songs they're put in and just overall have no effect on the music. Not my style, Not worth the hype.

    Rare = PERFECT
    This album is impeccable, I think Selena finally found herself artistically and explored various rhythms, new tones for her voice, engaged more in the composition and production of the album and if she has SG3 I don't even know what to expect because overcoming Rare will having to be VERY good

Even at a first listen, the album doesn’t have a single bad track: musically, they’re all catchy, interesting and it’s clear that Selena experimented many cool tunes. Also, there are many different vibes and genres represented and overall it really feels like she’s telling a story, a beautiful, sad in some parts, journey. Something to really pay attention to are the lyrics. This album is really personal and invites to listen to every song by understanding exactly what emotions are poured into them. Even the most upbeat tracks hide raw emotions that everybody has experienced once in their life. In particular, I advice to go deep into the lyrics of Let Me Get Me, Vulnerable, A Sweeter Place (one of the two collaborations). Also, Ring is a genial track: it reminds of the vibe of Selena‘a own song from her previous album, Revival, the track called Same Old Love, but the lyrics definitely qualify this song as some kind of Selena’s own Blank Space. Love it. Title track is also great: catchy, fun, playful, the essence of pop and at the same time the sign of its evolution. Overall, you could find the influence of some of the songs she released during these years, available in the Target version of Rare, such as It Ain’t Me and Bad Liar (I recall It Ain’t Me vibes in Vulnerable - a mix of Pop and EDM).     Rare is very expressive with songs that make you feel all kinds of feelings. Rhythms that make us dance but with reflecting lyrics. It’s all about self-love, self-confidence and empowering, a great way to follow revival’s path. Definitely a great pop album.

In her old music I could always picture someone else doing it,some had EDM vibes some had Rihanna vibes...it was never completely Selena. However ”Rare” is fully her. I can’t see anyone but her do this. Rare has absolutely no skips and every song could be a single.     It was always going to be difficult to follow up Revival but i have to say im enjoying this album. Selena really has found her niche and the music that best suits her voice.
    Some stand out tracks, would have just hoped for a few more bops!

    This album is all about self-growth and self-love. We’ve all had things we’ve had to overcome. The pain that comes with that journey is a universal thing but when we can rise from the ashes and fly again that is a beautiful thing. I love the throwback to several genres this album surprises you with. I will be listening to it all year long and can’t wait to hear more from Miss Gomez!

    Selena mostrou para o que veio em seu novo álbum, sem se vitimizar, a cantora cobre de elogios a si mesma o que mostra um amadurecimento analisando o álbum anterior da cantora, aonde ela chorava por seu relacionamento conturbado. A artista cresceu e está moldando sua carreira através deste álbum.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
