There’s a very generic quality to this album. Constantly referencing herself as a trophy.

Worst album of the year, a far cry from what it’s Queen title should represent.

Queen stands as Nicki’s worst album to date. Easily forgettable, unauthentic.

I think this album is horrible she is always trying to have these different identities and for what? Can’t she just be herself and just do an album? As it seems now all she has on her album is her lashing out like a angry two-year-old having a tantrum with again and identity crisis LOL to furthermore prove how insecure she is as a rapper it’s a total waste of however long this album is II think this album is horrible she is always trying to have these different identities and for what? Nicki makes me miss Kanye’s seven-song approach. Not even The Weeknd saved “Queen”, it’s a bland, incoherent mess. The album’s highlight “Barbie Dreams”, is a Lil Kim cover with a James Brown sample, which fails to do the originals justice.

The album seems to be misplaced. Nothing about it is memorable except for one song, Barbie Dreams, which Lil Kim was the first female to remake Notorious Big’s version. Therefore, it’s weird to know that she would feel comfortable doing a song with a concept that was already done by another female artist before her.

The biggest flop of the year.. First Katy Perry’s Witness in 2017, now this... what is happening?

Lyrically it's redundant. She still saying the same things she's has said in her past songs and features. That Coco Chanel track is the worst. Surely being in the industry for as long as she has she could have better sound quality. That track sounds like it was made in a garage studio.

This album is such a disappointment. It feels rush it and most of the songs are skip able. Where is this woman empowerment that she keeps speaking about that supposed to be in this album? With these dollar generals fts. All this album was about dissing people. This is a 0/10 for me

The “Queen” of rap is back with the best rap album this year! Nicki really showed once again why she is the Queen of Rap and why she’s been on top for so long.

A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! A waste of a title bc it doesn’t live up to it’s name at all. Too many fillers. For someone who claims the title “Queen”, this is what you deliver? Back to the drawing board!

The album was simply amazing and her best body of work yet. Between the beats, the lyrics, her flow and metaphors its unmatched. There's a reason why shes at where she is today. All hail the reigning **** Queen go cop that #Queen album

It was very boring and forgettable. The whole album she just take **** at other female rappers and remind people that she’s the so called best. Like just have fun girl.

Horrible album! From beginning to end there is no good song. “Barbie Dreams” is a Lil Kim cover with stolen punchlines.

After I heard what Nicki said about Drake on her album I will never support her again. The fact that she had to diss all these people on her song just to make a "hit" is sad. Please Nicki think twice before mentioning the King.

Not one good song in the whole album. Barbie Dreams is an overrated disaster.

This is proof that Nicki’s career peaked in 2014. Chun-li is the best song on the whole album.

Hey guys I am a fan of both Cardi and Nicki. But Nicki really disappointed me with this album. it seem as if she was firing shots at Cardi in some of te songs like LLC which obviously stands for Long Live Cardi. Then she goes and disses for "fun" on Barbie Dreams fat shaming Khaled, calling Desiigner special ed, she even dissed Drake. This makes Minaj look like a straight up bully. Its really sad that this is what she made her fans wait for 4 years. Just take my advice and don't listen to the album. Expand

Worst album of 2018! The level of petty is outrageous. Had to name drop and diss every big name in the industry.

I’ve been Nicki fan since the start, but I can’t lie. Her album is a complete disaster, nothing compares to prior albums. I really tried liking it, Barbie Dreams is a good album track, not a single. It’s really the best song off the album, and it’s very disappointing.

On Queen, Nicki spends a lot of time ordering beheadings--which are fun, but get old quick--rather than showing us why she is and should be queen. Here's to hoping the next album gives us a more earnest, more raw glimpse of the head that wears the crown.

When Minaj leans into her untouchable strengths as a rapper, things get really exciting and an album of tracks as strong as "LLC" or "Barbie Dreams" would be one for the books. As it stands, however, Queen is another chapter of Minaj's good but largely meandering and inconsistent full-length album output.

Queen's title implies it's meant to function as a coronation for one of the biggest rappers ever, but it's more the sound of Minaj fighting to keep that crown on her head.
