With her 4th album 'Queen' Nicki Minaj has shown to everybody her skilful and talented soul, jumping from her Pop side to the one more Hip-Hop Under ground.
I really loved this album and I would recommend to anyone who enjoy urban music in general, specially Hip-Hop/Rap.

This album is a thought provoking masterpiece that is so ahead of its time and is revolutionary to the rap industry. It is a deeply inspiring piece of work and can be rightfully given the title of one of the greatest albums of all time and will influence and bless the ears of those that have the intelligence and mental capability to listen

Con este álbum solo muestra su decadencia y letras malas, el tener buen ritmo y tener rimas oportunas no es ser un buen rapero.

The flow, punchlines, rhythm are so good. after 5 years, the album feed us good. When she said, ‘B*tches ain’t got punchlines or flows, I had both and an empire also’, you know she’s not lying. Congrats, Nicki!

The album is Nicki Minaj's Best Work To Date. Tracks like "Chun-Li", "Ganja Burn", "LLC" are some of the best songs on the album (just to name few of them). Queen is a pop-rnb album with little parts of rap. Name "queen" is must be "Queen [of rap]", but it's not.

Just here to say I really **** hope that leaked feature on Yandhi doesn’t end up on the final project cause that whole verse was down right “lyrical myrical” level cringe.

There is a pretty diverse catalogue of songs on this lengthy album, which I believe is the standard for Nicki Minaj. She has remixed the “Dreams” track from Biggie and Lil Kim and turned it into a modern version. This album, by the way, did feel rushed. It felt like Minaj had to scramble a couple of different sounding tracks in order to produce an album she has promised to release for four years. She also attempted to adapt to the modern trap sound, and for my personal preference, I dislike the analogousness of trap music since it’s the same recycled beats implemented for every song we hear.

She exerted her R&B moments which I enjoyed, with the “troubled relationship” vibes coming from tracks such as “Come See About Me” and “Run and Hide.”
She raps cockily about her skills and achievements in tracks like LLC, and collaborated with another female New York MC: Foxy Brown, on the melodic, bassy instrumental of “Coco Chanel.” I am indeed one of Nicki Minaj’s biggest fans, so I was at least satisfied with the fact that she had finally released an album. Could it have been better? Yes. Is it overall a horrible album? No.

And as I see some of the biased, hateful and uninformative reviews on here, I just want to comment that it is normal for a rapper to brag about their sexual encounters and other achievements career-wise and personally. Male or female. And not every rap song you hear has to have the same theme involving money, sex and drugs.

Overall, the album is a solid 8, maybe a 7.9. Nicki Minaj will continue to thrive if she takes her time and keeps pushing her pen, lyrically providing her fans with more creatively-worded puns and metaphors.

On Queen, Nicki spends a lot of time ordering beheadings--which are fun, but get old quick--rather than showing us why she is and should be queen. Here's to hoping the next album gives us a more earnest, more raw glimpse of the head that wears the crown.

When Minaj leans into her untouchable strengths as a rapper, things get really exciting and an album of tracks as strong as "LLC" or "Barbie Dreams" would be one for the books. As it stands, however, Queen is another chapter of Minaj's good but largely meandering and inconsistent full-length album output.

Queen's title implies it's meant to function as a coronation for one of the biggest rappers ever, but it's more the sound of Minaj fighting to keep that crown on her head.
