    Simplemente Ariana ha madurado mucho como artista y como cantante. Ella misma dijo que en este álbum lo que quería era cantar más y eso fue lo que hizo. Las vocals son impresionantes, el ritmo me recuerda mucho a Sweetener y eso me da a entender que quiso hacer un álbum poco comercial y más experimental. Me encanta

    I liked TUN a lot so I started listening to this album with great expectations and dont get me wrong I like R&B but this was a disrespect to R&B. Yeah her vocals are good as always but she exaggerated her vocals so much that it became annoying and irritating. The lyrics are childish and basic. Pick up a 16 year old and he/she can write better than this. Production is nothing spectacular.I liked TUN a lot so I started listening to this album with great expectations and dont get me wrong I like R&B but this was a disrespect to R&B.     This album is a masterpiece that tells a story unlike Ariana’s previous works. It ventures into a new space of music and I think that it complements Ariana’s style and voice perfectly. There is a mix of stereotypical pop songs and also R&B and ballets. Ariana never misses, and this was certainly no exception.

    El albúm es completamente perfecto, cada canción es una obra de arte, es un albúm de creciente adquisición, en mi opinión a la primera vez puede parecer básico pero connel tiempo te das cuenta que es algo que Ariana disfruta cantar y que le va perfecto. Dulce voz con melodías un tanto agresivas, una obra maestra.

    Fun album and great vocals as we all expect from Ariana . Songs like pov really hit you in feels . But i find this project rushed and a little unsatisfying , some production double layerd harmonies do not sit right with me and some songs are just too generic . Not a bad album at all but just not an improvement from Thank U , Next .

The album has 14 tracks which all have very excellent vocals and the instrumentals are well produced. The lead single of this album titled “Positions” is an amazing song worth listening and it has such a great vibe. The song did an astonishing job at debuting #1 in the Billboard Hot 100 Charts and overall has been high in streaming on all platforms.     So so good! This album gets so much bandwagon hate for no reason because simply nobody gives it a chance. It’s first listen is weird and different because it’s a different sound and route she’s taken compared to her other albums. The key is giving it a chance.

    I could say that we all got a little surprised with the release of ariana’s sixth album, but for me it was a wonderful gift. the r&b vibes and her great vocal techniques add an extra layer of smoothness and fun to the project. fav tracks are pov and my hair, witch has an amazing whistle register. 10 out of 10 for ari’s positions.

    Positions isn't my favorite performance from her, she could do better. But there are still amazing tracks like 34+35, safety net, pov, just like magic, and more. However some songs like off the table, shut up, and west side are just lacking something. I still like this album a great amount though.

    After releasing two of the best pop albums in the last years, Ariana tried to find herself in a bunch of songs that didn't felt unique or authentic. Even that it has some of her best songs to date (Safety Net, Positions, Pov) she fails to deliver artistic growth on it.

    A new ariana, a great era, great album. Just listen without any prejudice and im sure you will love it. Listen every track thoroughly, you’ll enjoy it very much. My personal favs: Safety Net, Love Language, Motive, Nasty, My Hair, Just Like Magic. They’re all masterpieces honestly. I can’t wait for ag7 im sure i’ll love that album too :)

    Out of all of her albums, this one is the weakest album second to Sweetener. Some things that I don’t like about this album are:
    -> There’s one song that’s a carbon copy of thank u, next.
    -> A lot of songs are forgettable. -> Some of the song’s production value is mediocre at best. -> Some of the song’s lyrics are generic or even worse. -> Ariana didn’t take enough break.     -> Ariana didn’t take enough break. She released 3 albums in 12 months time frame (sweetener, thank u, next, and positions) and it’s taking a toll on her creativity and artistry. Out of 14 songs, I only like 6 songs. So it’s only around 43% of the album’s entire content. Songs that I like are:
    -> motive ft. Doja Cat (since Doja’s verse saved the song).
    -> just like magic (even though it’s a trap song, she delivered it really well).
    -> safety net ft. ty dolla $ign (they both carried the song really well).
    -> my hair (the entire album should’ve had this song’s vibe since it sounds like a good RnB song in this album).
    -> positions (a well-made lead single).
    -> pov (should’ve been a single instead of 34+35).

    Songs that I don’t like:
    -> shut up (I can’t recognize the song’s structure).
    -> 34+35 (lyric is not good, instrumental is a carbon copy of thank u, next).
    -> nasty (I was excited when I heard the snippet. when I heard the entire song it was a big disappointment for me).
    -> west side (very boring).
    -> love language (the production is a bit messy, especially at the end. she shouldn’t include that part into the song).
    -> obvious (-ly forgettable). About “off the table ft. The Weeknd”, that song is not bad. Lyrics and production value is good. The only drawback is the tempo. It’s too slow for my taste and I almost fell asleep while listening to it. Overall, this album was a whole rollercoaster. Many ups, many downs. And let me remind you that there are 21 producers (including Ariana herself) working in this album so that tells you a lot.    … Expand

    Position is a "very good" album. 6/14 tracks in standard edition is good and "test drive" in deluxe edition — the rest are skip. This album feels like in a rush when it's made. Vocals, definitely perfect — unfortunately, Ariana's songwriters and producers really didn't try to put new and spice on her sixth studio album.

Iniciando o álbum com a inovadora "shut up", que envolve alguns belos recursos digitais, o lindíssimo fundo com violino e a sua potência vocal, a música nos leva a algum tipo de realidade alternativa, mágica, como seAriana Grande é sem dúvida um dos grandes nomes da música, com um longo caminho até o aclamado "Thank u, next", a cantora nos supreende com o lançamento de seu substituto. Iniciando o álbum com a inovadora "shut up", que envolve alguns belos recursos digitais, o lindíssimo fundo com violino e a sua potência vocal, a música nos leva a algum tipo de realidade alternativa, mágica, como se estivessemos em um desenho animado. O grande problema aqui é que esse nível grandioso não se mantem durante o álbum, abusando de recursos digitais e um pouco pobre em relação aos instrumentos (em relação ao belo violino da faixa 1 ou o piano no "sweetener"), o álbum transmite a sensação de pouca inovação em relação aos seus antecessores e nos faz refletir sobre como seria uma Ariana se aventurando em outros genêros, ou se aventurando dentro de suas próprias composições. Embora algumas faixas sejam grandiosas, como "Nasty" e "Pov", o álbum nos deixa perdidos em relação a sua própria sonoridade e identidade, faixas como "Positions" mostra como seria um pop com recursos digitais em décadas passadas, o álbum soa conceitualmente como algo dos anos 20' o que seria inovador e grandioso, mas foi pouco aprofundado. Algo deve ser dito, Ariana foi muito perspicaz em adicionar sons de fundo, como: grilos e sons de água, isso mostra delicadeza na produção. Com o "deluxe" que poderia corrigir esses problemas, surge uma decepção, as faixas são muito curtas e seguem o mesmo padrão quase repetitivo do "standart". Ariana criou um lindo conceito com esse álbum, toda a estética é muito bonita e soa inovadora, o que pode ter sido o erro aqui foi a previsibilidade quanto a sonoridade, falta de profundidade nas letras e principalmente o gostinho de "quero mais" da faixa 1. Isso me faz pensar em como seria uma era disco, de década ou de algum novo genêro seria bom nessa étapa para a Ariana, se reinventar e ousar é um dos grandes pilares de uma discografia de grandes nomes da música.

    Positions is clearly an album about growth and finding happiness after so much problems that Ariana Grande been trough. This may be a pop album, but we can see the R&B inspired on the instrumentals and on the vocals. All together it sounds like heaven.
    My congratulations to this amazing album.

    Such an unnecessary album in her discography. She needs to take a break and get some new inspiration; apart from a few songs like My Hair, she is just so watered down and it's more of the same trap inspired pop. It's all just generic with some cringe and immature lyrics and songwriting. Hopefully her next one can sound like Sweetener.

    This album is what Ariana wanted to do for so long. Its mainly pop/r&b. These songs are so dreamy and magical. My favorites are: safety net with ty dolla $ign, west side, motive with Doja Cat and my favorite is a track from deluxe edition: worst behavior. Its just a masterpiece

    Writing reviews to her albums is really waste of time, because except Sweetener, it's literally the same thing. Style, genre, vocals, not talking about all that writers and producers she needs to create an album. The only good thing about Positions is that she didn't include any unnecessary featurings, like she always did before. Positions??this is about women adjusting herself for a man, this is about women sxx slavery. How is this about empowering women if Ariana is a feminist??. I'd rate this 0.     Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
