Plastic Hearts contains twelve unreleased songs, ranging from chart pop / rock to vaguely new wave tones (we are still in 1982) to high-impact electro-acoustic ballads. His voice is perfect, the arrangements are engaging and respond to the best guilty pleasure for any “vintage” rock fan. The best songs are WTF Do I Know, Plastic Hearts, Prisoner and Midnight Sky (singles, basically). Gimme What I Want deserves a separate mention, the best of the album, an aggressive and pumping post-disco that immediately captures. Also noteworthy is the mash-up with Stevie Nicks, between Midnight Sky and his Edge of Seventeen.… Expand

    Every song of the album is great. From songwriting to production to her vocals, she has outdone herself. This is the first album ever in which I wasn't able to pick my favorites. It's good to know that soulful music still exists. She is not going on a mad spree to make cash and just sticking to same kind of music.     This album represents everything Miley Cyrus always wanted to show/delivery as an artist. Plastic Hearts is a scream of truth, honesty and vulnerability. Miley's 7th studio album might have 'Plastic' on its title, but there's nothing fake about it. This is Cyrus' best work.

    Miley's return to music following her amazing 'She Is Coming' EP from 2019 is nothing short of revolutionary. She develops on her new sound which she discovered in her previous EP and has created an astonishing, universally acclaimed album which is sure to shape and influence the music industry in the coming years - you should be excited, things are looking up for the industry.

    I'd say plastic heart really deserves to be the aoty. It is really very hard to find an artist who is more versatile and bringing back the rock genre which is almost dead after 1980's. I'm very sure that artist who is more influential like miley cyrus have chance of bringing the rock music back to mainstream.     This album hits every single feel that I've felt and what I'll feel from here on in. The grit, the ballad, the catchiness. I haven't been this thrilled and excited over an album in a very long time. I want to listen from beginning to end and know this album inside and out.     Absolutely amazed by this album. Was waiting for Miley to step into the pop-rock scene for a while. I think this is only the beginning for Miley in this space. Not a song to skip! Especially love Angels Like You, Never Be Me, and Night Crawling (which I didn’t love my first listen, but has seriously grown on me!).

Songs like “Angels like you” and “Never be me” sparks the conversations about how she isn’t always the best and most reliable person in a relationship, and many may look down on this, but this shows her honesty and the facts that she accepts who she is.     In all honesty, Miley Cyrus gets better and better and this album proves that! It’s personal, authentic, bad ass and EVERY song is a masterpiece! You can tell Miley has really put her heart and sole into this from the raw emotional vocals to the choosing of collaborators - truly iconic! I can’t get enough of this album, simple as that.

Plastic hearts is lyrically beautiful and raw, Miley really opened up her soul and placed it in the album. Each track is completely different yet cohesive.     Miley Cyrus tried something different again. She's never afraid of trying something new unlike other popular singers. The sound of 80s pop and a little bit of rock made an amazing harmony. Her vocals were so rockish and it's made the album unique. Also you can never get bored when you listen to it because all the songs sound different.

    This is the proof that Miley can do whatever she wants. She's the most versatile artist in industry and she did an excellent work with this album. It's a Masterpiece full of bangers. I've been listening to it on repeat and it's incredible how it doesn't have a single skip. I don't think I'll ever get tired of these wonderful songs. I'm delighted ❤️✨

    Simply her best work to date. The whole album is a pure piece of art, going from feeling like a bad b*tch to crying and wanting to dump our boyfriends. Miley isn’t afraid to take risks, each song have a different vibes yet the album is insanely coherent. Miley you got 10/10 on this one.

    Miley's best album in recent memory and one of the best of the year. The album combines all of Miley's nature. it opens with a daring and provocative song with foul language, continues with rock, reaches disco at the equator and ends with lyrical ballads describing her kind, fragile soul. One cannot but mention the Blondie cover. Heart of Glass sounds as good as it gets.

    Miley never disappoint. such a great honest album. felt every song and lyric. Miley Cyrus owned this year, her label paid her dust but i don't care about numbers, she owned 2020.
