    At the end of the day, Notes From a Quiet Life is a pleasant listen that can surely soundtrack some relaxing times, but may leave fans searching for more hooks and layers.

    Greene dials down, as was the case with the preceding LP, Notes from Quiet Life serving as a comedown equivalent to the sonic swelter of the former.

    Sounds pleasant enough, but Greene's songs and production are so placid and unbothered by anything remotely emotional that it's hard to imagine the album causing any kind of reaction.
